I've been sleeping on this for about a week now and so far so good. It's just as comfy as the day it arrived. The smell didn't bother me at all - it was barely noticeable and certainly not noticeable now. It's like sleeping on a cloud compared to my bare mattress which I discovered when I moved in was like sleeping on bare springs :S

A good quality mattress topper. It is very firm and not as soft as i was expecting or would have liked. As I suffer from Fibromyalgia and arthritis, I was hoping it would ease some of the pain the same as the mattress topper I have on my single bed. sadly it is not soft enough, although it is comfortable.

I got this to top a too hard mattress that had me feeling like I'd been thumped all over the back every time I woke up. Just a little niggle, but even after leaving it to expand for 48 hours, it's not quite 3" (more like 2 and three quarters). It's still a good product as the pain relief is excellent - my back pain has almost completely gone. However, it doesn't feel as soft and comfy as I remember memory foam being. That's why I've covered it with a second topper (as seen in the pics). Between them both, I've created a bed that feels like a cloud!

This mattress topper makes any bed more comfortable.I don't have heavy back pain but I would not go back to an ordinary mattress.The only important thing is to buy the cover with it because it is full of chemicals and you can have allergy. My skin has been itching for days before I realised that it could be the mattress. Once I received the matching cover, the itching stopped.
