Bissell2055A Cat & Dog Nail Clippers/Trimmer with Safety Guard and File for Large and Small Animal Grooming

I liked that Bissell offered a great product that was easy to use. My pet responded better to this one , than the previous one. My pet is a larger animal and I was concerned because of the title for small or large, but looking at it, and utilizing it was an example of how it could work for the minis to the larger. Will recommend this one to family and friends.

This clipper is fast! It makes keeping our pups nails trimmed an easy task. Our previous pair did not have the leverage these do. Our pup has thick nails and the old clippers took a lot of force and concentration.

They work fine, but I wish they had better instructions or tips for use.They are probably sturdy enough, but because they're not solid metal they don't "seem" sturdy. The grips are more comfortable than the metal ones.They will cut smoothly, but could probably be a little sharper.Overall, I think they work fine and are a good value.

Our dog didn't even flinch when we cut her nails. Very sharp and dog friendly with a guard to prevent one from cutting the quick.

I've tried four other nail clippers before these and they were awful. These ones actually work well, even for our large dog with thickkk nails. The little "file" is useless though, just toss it. But happy to have some that cut well for once!

These pet nail clippers are advertised for dogs and cats, but they are much too big to be useful for cats. The opening between the blades is too large and deep to align with a cat's claw, even with the blades almost fully closed.They seem sturdy and well made, with a nice slicing action as you close the blades, they are not loose or sloppy at all. These will surely work well for the size of animal they're intended for.There were no instructions for using the safety guard, so I had no idea how it is supposed to work.

If your dog has tough nails, these clippers are perfect!

People have asked HOW DO YOU ADJUST THESE because the packages says you can but NO ANSWER because all that plastic is set in place and there is NO ADJUSTMENT. They LIE to get you to buy them and then when you buy them you can not even ask the seller because that option is never given to you since AMAZON is the seller. No one knows how to adjust them. No one answers the question. So if you want a one size fits all GO FOR IT... For the rest of us this is crap.

After reading hundreds of reviews on hundreds of different nail clippers I thought this brand would be the best quality to replace my favorite old Clippers that are now broken. This is a good Clipper and good sturdy quality. Easy to use on our large breed dogs. Many reviews said these Clippers were quiet. I was skeptical on how any particular Clipper could be more quiet than another. The result is NO, they are not any more quiet than previous models I've used. However at the end of the day I'm happy with my purchase and I have no doubt that they will last for years to come.

These clippers are definitely chunky enough to handle, but I feel the blade of the clippers isn't strong enough for larger dog nails. My dog gets her nails trimmed biweekly. I used for the first time and the blades are all dented and I felt like the cut wasn't as smooth as it could be. The clippers I normally use I gave to my parents for their dog and they seemed sharper and stronger blades for a quick snip. These I'm worried the nail will get stuck or won't cut as nice after a few.
