Reading other reviews I was prepared for two "negatives". There is a little carrying strap. Useless and flimsy. Check. It's small. Check. BUT...neither are material issues and the overall size being small makes this GREAT to pack, carry, store etc. I'm very surprised by how bright you can make this and love that you can change the hue of the light. I will be very pleased if the battery lasts as advertised and it holds up over time but based on my initial use and observations this is a quality item that has a great spot on your "be prepared" list for hurricanes (I'm in Florida!). Like this light a lot.

We are scheduled for a power outage this weekend, so I wanted some additional light (other than candles). The items are perfect! They are small, hangable, and emit quite a bit of light. They are sturdy and charged quickly. I like how they are USBC chargeable—no more expensive batteries that are problematic to recycle or dispose.

This is a great light to have for power outages and camping. I've used it for both. Battery life seems good (several hours). It's a good shape so it doesn't tip over easily. We had one of these already and it was useful in a multi-day power outage, so we bought a second one.

UPDATE: As stated below, the first one received died almost immediately and that was a bummer. But Glocusent quickly made the situation right. My order was refunded and they sent me a new unit, no charge. Wonderful to do business with a company that actually cares. The new unit seems to be working fine so far - after around a month or so of occasional use. I'm not certain how to rate this product at this point.. maybe three stars for the product and five for the company, Glocusent (?).. But the product might yet show itself to be worthy of higher rating. We will see. I can say this for sure: I would take a chance with any Glocusent product - they have earned that trust (and my other products from Glocusent have performed perfectly and are used every day).Original one-star review:Very disappointing. It worked great when it first arrived. It was handled with care. But this is an infrequent use type item. And when we recently tried to charge it up again - just out of warranty - it was completely dead. It either won't charge or won't turn on - hard to tell which. It's jut dead. I've tried different chargers and cables. They are fine. The unit is defective.This was a surprise to me, as I've had pretty great experiences with Glocusent products until this. Ugh.

Great little light to use for camping or emergencies. It has multiple settings for white led and yellow. Brightness settings and an emergency red blinking light. It appears to hold a charge for a very long time, and it feels solid/well built. It hangs easily on a hook and is good value. It’s not too heavy or too light but right in the middle, and it functions exactly as I expected. I think this light will last quite awhile. Great purchase and I would recommend it!

When I first got it I thought it was going to be too small to illuminate anything boy was I wrong, little light lights up really really well, haven't had to use thankfully, bought for power outages & emergency purposes, can't tell you about battery life but seems to be built well and very very bright, so 5 stars for right now!!

This little guy packs a punch for being small! It's SUPER bright - we even bring it to use on our boat at nighttime so we can see what we're doing. There are multiple light settings, which is cool, and it's easy to pack with us on the go.

This thing is bright, the battery lasts forever. Great for camping or there is a power outage. I would recommend this to everyone, great value for your money and very functional. Hangs easily and takes no space so portable.
