This is an exquisite handsome clock n is quite weighty. It is totally silent n absolutely no ticking n the minute hand sweeps around rather than staggering. It truly is a beautiful clock n keeps excellent timing n runs on one AA battery. I highly recommend this lovely clock.

Couldn't get to work
No AA battery enclosed but after inserting 1 it refused to work at all. Didn't return as the box was flimsy and no returns note found.
