Sturdy and comfortable
Thought I’d wait until I’d worn these on a trip to Iceland before writing a review. I’m happy to say they kept my feet warm, dry and protected in the snow and ice. I wore them on day trips to the waterfalls, glaciers and black sand beaches where the snow was about 8 to 18 inches deep and temperatures ranged from 3 to -9 degrees. The only time my feet ever actually felt cold was during a night time excursion to see the northern lights. The grip was adequate and I walked around the sometimes icy paths of Reykjavik with confidence. The boots felt slightly heavy for the first few minutes of putting them on but didn’t affect my natural step. The fit was slightly on the loose side (even though my feet usually require a wider fit) but I only wore one pair of socks with them. They were easy to fasten and put on/ take off and kept my feet warm, dry and comfortable.I was looking for sturdy, quality footwear and these boots certainly fit the bill.I have given 5 stars because the product looked like it does in the photo, the delivery was prompt, the condition of the packaging was good and the product met all my specifications.

Excellent quality product but ladies, take 1 size down. Best item for snow grip and freezing temperatures.
This is an excellent product - tough, warm, cosy (although yet to try in the snow/Iceland). However - the sizing is TOO BIG.Normally a UK 8 I ordered the 7.5 becuase of other reviews saying the same. In the meantime I went to a store and tried a UK7 which fits perfectly and with still plenty of room around the width of the foot, and space to spare at the toe. To be clear - I have a medium width foot.As I fly out tomorrow I can't swap this one for a 7 (but thankfully bought the one in store just in case).I also tried the Joan of Arctic to compare. These do seem to run true to size and I would have taken an 8 if I liked the style.

Really decent snow boots
I’d finally worn out my last pair of (cheap) snow boots and as I had a holiday to northern Norway booked for January, thought I’d splurge on a decent pair. Did a lot of research and decided on these. Thought I’d wait until after my holiday to review though! So the most important part - are they snow/water proof? Absolutely. We had heavy, deep snow and nothing got through, no damp feet at any point. They were also nice and warm, I didn’t have cold feet at any point, which I’m highly susceptible to getting, and we were dealing with temperatures as low as -20°. Coupled with a decent pair of woollen socks, my feet were always toasty. I froze myself standing on a deck of a boat for hours, watching the northern lights and the only warm part of me was my feet. The felt inner layer is a nice touch and the fleece top prevents any errant snow from finding its way into the boots. I loved how easy they were to put on and take off. You can open them up quite wide to put on and then tighten them, it was refreshing not having to battle with a pair of snow boots! They’re slightly clunky and large, but I’ve found the same with other snow boots and you get used to it quickly. The only reason I can’t give these 5 stars is because they’re terrible on ice. Literally fell over in my first half an hour outside. After that, I was super careful, but at one particularly icy place I was like Bambi on ice while others strode past me. My saint of a husband had to drag me across the ice while I kept my knees locked. So if you’re going anywhere particularly icy, crampons would be a must with these (I’ll be investing in some) Despite this, I’m very happy with my purchase and I do feel like they’re going to last well, they still look brand new after a week of stamping round in the snow and there was a fair bit of walking!

fantastic boots, worth every penny!
These are awesome boots, but all Sorel footwear is tbh. I live rurally in the Scottish Highlands in a field that is very often wet, muddy, icy and snowy so footwear is super important. These are totally waterproof, have excellent grip and are warm with plenty of room for thick socks or sheepskin insoles. I am a regular size 5 and these are perfect. Also need to say they look good too and I wear them with chunky legwarmers and get compliments about the boots. Like everything in life--you get what you pay for and these are worth every penny.

Perfect and great quality
Hands down the best boots for snow and ice. I’m usually a size 8.5 in American. I ordered a 6UK - 8US and they are just roomy enough for thick socks and extra room for air to keep the feet toasty warm. Nice and wide too.My partner is size 10 US, ordered size 10 US (8UK) and they fit perfectly.

Brilliant snow boots
Brilliant, I was really worried how these would fit, I saw reviews where they told you to up a size or down a size so I was seriously considering ordering half a size up but I'm so glad I went for my normal size in these they fit perfectly. The boots work really well, I've found when you sit or stand still for any length of time you can feel it's cold but your feet are still OK and soon as you move they feel nice and cosy. I've even noticed how cold my legs actually feel which I never had before but my feet never get too warm they just stay a nice cosy temperature. They are a bit heavy but they are built for a purpose and work and as I needed snowboots that are waterproof these really fit the bill. Really recommend these.

Good, solid, warm boots
I LOVE these boots! Super warm in cold weather because the fleece lining does a great job. Will take pretty much anything you can throw at them. Great in the snow as the soles are really grippy. Great for rugby try lines in February! They do tend to collect a little mud as the treads are quite deep, and the chunkiness makes them a little heavy, but you feel pretty invincible in them! I think they come up a little large - don’t order up a half size cos you want to wear thick socks as there’s plenty of room in there.

Sizing is off
Sorel’s sizing is off. It’s about a size too small but when I went up a size in this boot they were huge!Had to return them

AMAZING
These boots are literally the BEST winter boots I’ve ever owned. I live less than an hour from Lake Michigan and the temperature gets very cold here in the winter. My feet stay warm in these boots all day and they are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Women's PAC 2 Winter Boot
Good all around winter boot. Boot is solidly constructed, waterproof, rated -25 degrees Celsius. Comfortable with a snug fit. The PAC liner can be replaced when needed. The boot is hefty side so it will take time to become acclimated to it.A god bargain for the price.

Perfect upon arrival
I have yet to wear these in snow so this is just my initial review for trying on the product out of the box. These boots run large. I’m wearing my sorel out and about boots (sz 8.5) for comparison in the photos. I ordered a size 8 in these. Taking the inserts out, I could’ve ordered a size 7. These are weird, it’s like the boot is a whole size too big but the inserts are sized correctly. So if I went down half a size more the insert would be too short for my foot even though the boots would fit better. I’ve never owned a pair of snow boots so this may be the norm for them. They don’t shift when I walk though so I guess the inserts are just that thick to make up the difference. They feel very cozy & warm on my foot though.

Sofort wieder
