Sturdy and solid, could use more ventilation for arboreals -- keep an eye on glue
2nd edit:After my first edit, the seller reached out and gave me a refund on the broken enclosure and sent me a new one for free. The new one showed up and I can tell there must have been something wrong with the original one from the get-go. The new one's door slides much more smoothly and doesn't smell like silicone as badly as the first one had when it arrived/before I aired it out.So, keep an eye on the seams, but A+ response by the seller and I am hopeful the second one will do much better!Edit:After a few weeks, the front panel seam has separated, like the glue isn't holding. Very disappointed. Not sure if it is a fluke or what. It isn't gapping enough my spider can get out (she is several inches), but it would certainly have been enough for smaller critters.I will try siliconing it myself when I have a suitable new home for the current occupant. It is a good cage and felt really sturdy, but it is only as sturdy as the glue holding it together.Original:Good, solid cage with a nice sliding door. It is very thick acrylic and could probably take a bump or two. It is nice that it would work for either terrestrial or arboreal, but I think for arboreal tarantulas that need a lot of ventilation it would need additional holes drilled since it only has them in the front.Overall, the best-looking enclosure for the best price I've found. Will probably buy more!

Perfect Tank for All Tarantula Types – Durable, Clear, and Safe!
Tarantula Enclosure XL (10”x7”x14”) – The Perfect Home for My Arachnids!I’ve been using the Tarantula Enclosure XL from Authentic Joy to house my medium-sized tarantulas, and I absolutely love it! It’s a versatile tank that works for all types of tarantulas—arboreal, terrestrial, and even fossorial species. The high-quality acrylic is thick, sturdy, and clear, making it easy to see my spiders without any obstructions. I've got around 10 of these enclosures now, and I plan to continue using them for my growing collection. What really stands out to me is the design. The sliding magnetic door is such a smart feature—it makes opening and closing the tank effortless, and I never have to worry about accidentally squishing one of my spiders or not securing the lid properly. It's a huge relief knowing the enclosure stays sealed, preventing any potential escape or accidents.I also appreciate how durable the acrylic is. None of my enclosures have ever leaked, warped, or bowed, even with long-term use. It’s clear Authentic Joy really prioritizes quality with these tanks. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. If you’re looking for a reliable, secure, and easy-to-maintain enclosure for your tarantulas, this is definitely a winner!

Good quality at a decent price!
I bought one of these and liked it so much I bought a second (and will likely buy a third).Pros:* The acrylic is thick, and quite clear. Craftsmanship is good, with no rough spots or unfinished seams.* Can be used as either a terrestrial or arboreal enclosure. With enough substrate and a smaller spider, you could even use it as a fossorial enclosure.* Can be stacked when using the included rubber feet.* Strong lid magnets, closes securely.Cons:* Not enough ventilation holes for many species that require more ventilation.* The lid on my second one sticks, and needs more force to open and close.* Since the lid only takes up half the top, maintenance and cleanup on one side of the enclose is difficult without long tongs.

GORGEOUS- worth every penny!
I got my first sand spider and needed an enclosure that emphasized to all that she is not a spider for holding. Acrylic enclosures in general are kind of expensive so was happy to see this for the same price as a nice tarantula enclosure. Very sturdy, I trust it to contain mid-sized venomous spiders and thats saying a lot. This would be a really great enclosure for jumping spiders(or other arboreals) too because its tall and you can fit a lot of things to climb in it.The only thing to consider is how you are going to place it-- it has a narrow base and could be top-heavy if knocked the right way. You could also put it on its side for different critters. It does come with little sticky silicon feet you can put on to make the bottom a little less slick, which helps quite a bit- I've not ever had an issue with the enclosure tipping but I can see a stupid kid knocking it over.

Needed a few adjustments but customer service was on it
First the size for the price was great. I also liked it could be for terrestrial or arboreal. The magnets on the door are not quite as strong as I would like and I felt like it needed some more ventilation holes. I was contacted about a manufacturing issue with the adhesive. Within a week of purchase I noticed the sides separating. Customer service was great and issued a refund. *Edit* I received an email telling me a new batch is now in and the issues are fixed. I'm excited to try the revised enclosure and will update again after.

Warped and came apart
It's a great design idea but poorly made. In under 6 months the acrylic warped and the enclosure walls started to separate from each other at the seams. I had to brace it with a ton of clear packing tape. Manufacturer needs to work on the adhesive used to bond the acrylic sheets together or switch to a solid one piece design
