Nice blade
I had to reread some of the comments others made and laugh at them. Some said there blade wasn’t sharp, mine was. Came sharp enough to strip paper. Grip is comfortable, just what you want for a day’s work with a blade. Sheath is durable and provides adequate protection and safety for carrying. Very functional as a machete. So far no rust in the Florida humidity. Edge has held up well so far. Cutting sugar cane with it, and small bushes. Balance was surprisingly good too. Great deal for the price. If your life is going to depend upon it, think of it as a great alternative to the more expensive well known brands and honestly for a short term survival situation will probably be satisfactory, especially if you don’t have a big budget. But for this price point, this is a very rugged piece of gear that if used as intended as a chopper and knife will do you well. But like any gear, if misused it probably can be bent if you try hard enough to do so, though it would take some effort. And unless you’re repeatedly striking rocks and boulders with the edge it won’t chip or bend. Husband who is a big man and gorilla handles tools loves it. And that’s all that matters.

Worth the $20 I paid for it.
Right out of the box this thing is very sharp with no sloppy manufacturing defects on the blade like many budget knives often have on them and no uneven grind either. Handle scales were securely attached and did not wiggle around. If one were to really nitpick about any issues with this knife it would be that the handle scales are not perfectly flush with the tang. Sheath is adequate, it's just nylon and nothing fancy but it appears to be stitched together relatively well and I have seen much worse than this one that often come with budget knives. So for about $20 you get a fairly large knife with a decent sheath and overall it's worth it. The knife feels light for it's size though so I suspect the tang is skeletonized but I am not sure, it could be the thin wood handle slabs making it feel lighter since I am accustomed to synthetic handle materials which likely weigh more than these wood ones. Also the blade itself is not massively thick so that could be another reason for it's light weight feel.

Sometimes WOW!
Well, sometimes cheap is just the right thing! I had a bit of curiosity as a novice collector of various knives that this could be worthwhile for use on a camping or hiking excursion but after using it a bit and giving it a finer edge, it is now my EDC fixed blade tool, pocket clip or belt carrying makes it versatile and the label band is a great hook for a multi tool or ferro rod with a braided lanyard.

Good budget chopper
Pretty sharp out of the box, good size for a chopper or all purpose camp knife. To me it’s a little short for a machete insofar as cutting grasses, but it chops well and keeps an edge on initial testing. Good balance, sheath is good quality. Overall high marks for a budget banger, my biggest complaint is the handle scales were loose on arrival. Also needed a lanyard hole.

Handle could be ‘beefier’
So this is a large bushcraft knife with plenty of backbone, super sharp out of the box. It’s so sharp in afraid the leather snap strap to keep the knife secure won’t last as pulling the knife from the sheath cuts into it and may eventually cut free. The main flaw is the lack luster handle. It came with its hex screws loose and the wood is light and the edges kind of too “edgie”. It could stand to be a bit thicker and more rounded for a comfortable feel in the hand. Check the hex screws on the handle for tightness before taking I to the field. I’m going to sand the edges and try to make mine more comfortable. Overall a good value though

A cut above the rest
I was genuinely surprised by my recent purchase of this knife—it exceeded all my expectations! Right out of the box, it was clear that quality was at the forefront of its design. The craftsmanship is top-notch, giving this knife a sturdy and reliable feel. The blade? Wow! It was razor-sharp, making it a breeze to cut through branches and create kindling for my fires. I found myself out in nature, blissfully chopping away and enjoying the process. It's been incredibly satisfying to whip up ample kindling with such ease, rather than struggling with dull tools. But what really sold me on this knife was the convenience of wearing it on my belt. It was always within reach, ready to tackle any task I loved the peace of mind that came with having my trusty tool by my side at all times. Overall, if you're in the market for a reliable and stylish knife, look no further—this one’s a game changer! Whether you’re a seasoned camper or just need a trusty knife for everyday use, this purchase is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Solid chopper
Love it, this is the camp knife I have searched for. It arrived in a gift box, flawless finish of tang to handle, grind is perfect, super sharp. Chops a notch in hardwood then it thin sliced some mushrooms and leftover steak for sandos. Excellent sheath too, an unreal value for a very useful blade design. Even has a paracord lanyard already, dang.

Great Full Tang Knife, not stick tang.
I was looking for a good 8cr13 6" knife for a bag I built. This is it. I love the blade shape. Handles scales are thin but fit my hand the way I like and are walnut which I like. Love the sheath too. Heavy nylon with leather cross band and retention strap and a tight metal clip that goes great on a pocket or easy to attach to your belt. I used it Alot today and it performed very well after quick stropping. Carves and chops good, and strikes a fire rod great. Liked it so much just ordered another one👍👍 My favorite part of the handle is the forward cut-outs. They are perfect for a pinch grip. Edit: I've taken this on several camping and hiking trips and it is a Solid Knife. Don't let the price fool you.
