Purchased this for my daughter's Easter basket. It was an instant hit. The story is cute and funny. It's a fun read.

I'm not sure who this book is *for,* per se, but I definitely know classroom teachers should steer clear. The two main characters are unlikable, engage in cartoon-like fighting to settle a territory dispute, and the resolution only comes when they team up to fight a common foe: a child-like version of Cupid. If you'd enjoy a story about a lunatic leprechaun and and evil Easter Bunny fighting one-another first, and later a "chubby" Cupid, this is the book for you! However, if you're an elementary teacher looking for a festive, fun read-aloud with a modicum of educational value, look elsewhere.Giving it two stars because the illustrations are fun and colorful...and totally wasted on this story.

If you are a teacher or a parent, children will learn absolutely nothing from this book!It basically demonstrates that it's ok to be unkind.If you are teaching SEL or growth mindset in your classroom or at home, ignore this book at all cost.Really shocking that books like this are still being written.

My 2nd graders loved it!
