It's good! I bought a used one, but it's still in good condition. I have some charcoal bags that I use but it came with a pack of activated charcoal for the odor control. It's easy to use, the manual seems easy if you're a visual learner

This trash can is well made and operates smoothly and easily with the foot pedal. Its small size is perfect for fitting next to our shower door in our 2nd bathroom. The outside of the can doesn't seem to be showing fingerprints or dust that other reviewers have complained about.

I loved this can for almost two months. Then I emptied it - hardly anything there, so I turned it over and emptied it in order to reuse the plastic liner bag because, you know, whales. Except the air damper that closes the lid softly is not affixed to the can at all, fell in with the household trash when I turned the can over and went to the dump. Now the can thumps closed. A replacement air damper costs 60% of the cost of a new can (originally I thought an extra damper came with purchase - boy, I wish!). How hard would a little clamp be? So five stars for nice and sleek, zero stars for thoughtful design.Here's the update: Touchless saw this review and responded to it. Yup, THEY contacted ME! And they offered a free replacement air damper under the waranty. It just came, totally free, and I put it in and now I have a five star trash can instead of a three star trash can. Great customer service!!

I had purchased a round stainless steel can from Target. I hated it. It scraped noisily on my bathroom floor every time I used it, and the lid came down with a clang and an echo that nightly threatened to wake my husband if I got in bed later than he did--as I usually do. This one has a smaller footprint (good); rubber on the bottom that eliminates the squawk of metal on old, non-shiny bathroom tile (better); and that lovely silent closure--until the day someone emptied it, a few days after we purchased it. It comes down with a noisier thud than the nice slow pneumatically-controlled one of its first day or two of service, but it is not loud enough to wake the dead, at the very least hurt my ears, like the old model. Kind of a muted "thwup" rather than a "CLAAAANNNNGGGGGGG." So: four stars, but not five.

It looks nice but the lid doesn’t close as it’s supposed to. I have occasionally had to push the lid down to close from day one.

Liked odor control and leaves no fingerprints

This is just a really nice sized trash can for my bathroom and adds a little touch of class. It looks great with my brushed steel fixtures and it operates nicely and quietly. I really like that i can make the lid stay open if I need it to. It closes quietly too which is also a nice touch.

You step on the pedal to open and then the top does not close. You have to close it by hand. Also it's really small. Didn't realize 1.32 was that tiny.***update***Just threw it in the trash. Yes, it’s so small and useless, I threw this trash can…the trash!!! Please don’t make the same mistake as me!
