Jr. Fire Fighter Red Helmet w/Lights & Siren Costume Hat Child

The media could not be loaded. This is one of the most fun and adorable accessories I have. First off the hat comes with the batteries already in it for immediate use of the lights and siren. The lights and siren are one unit so once you turn it one they will both turn on together. There is no way to run one or the other separately. It does take (2) 1.5V batteries once the batteries it came with runs out and you need to change them. You will need a Philips screwdriver to undo the screw. The batteries are easy to replace and takes only a minute. Inside the hat there is a head adjuster strap where you an loosen or tighten to fit your head comfortably. All in all this is just a super adorable hat to add as an accessory to any playtime outfit. Please view my video review for more information on this hat. If you use this hat against a green screen the part where there are green stickers on the hat will go see through and this you can see in my video. Finally opinion, it is well worth the money for the joy it can bring and the quality and durability is great as well!

Very sturdy! Perfect for our fire truck

This is The Toy that gets sent home with Jonas, then returned back to Grandma's house later. :) 'Here's Jonas and his hat!' I LOVE MY FIREMAN HAT! I want a ladder!! I want a firehose!! I want a truck! I love to run with my hat on! I love to leave my hat turned on when I am finished playing with it and it makes lots and lots of noise!! When grandma turns it off, I love to run back over and turn it back on!! I LOVE THIS HAT!! My Grandson loves fire trucks and sirens and has a favorite cartoon character who is a fire dog. He plays that he is the fire dog but he didn't have a fireman's hat. He was visiting before Easter and we were talking about his idol the Fire dog. I pulled up my Amazon account and looked for this fireman's hat. It has a light and siren on top and he went ballistic for it. I ordered it and we had it within 2 days! I'd rather give him something like this than a lot of candy. (so would his mother). He was so excited to get the hat and wears it everywhere except to sleep in but that's because of the shape, lol. I highly recommend this if you want to be a great Mom, Grandmother or just a good friend. By the way, the siren and light can be turned off and on so it doesn't have to be noisy all the time. It's a great outside toy which encourages imagination and he looks so cute in it. My Grandson is 3 and a half years old.

The hat was gifted to my nephew for his 2nd bday party. He loves everything firemen and loves the hat! Siren was great and fit was good.

The wiring in the helmet for the siren and lights was a little fragile and broke. I had to repair it twice. It also uses button cell batteries. It would be better it if used AAA batteries. Button cells don't last long and are expensive. I ended up removing the light and siren unit by unscrewing it from the interior. It looks like a regular helmet once the siren/light unit is removed. My son missed the lights for a short time but still plays with it. I give it a 3.5 star rating for the button cell batteries and poor quality wiring.

I bought it as a gift for my great grandson. I was very pleased with it. I’m sure that he’s gonna enjoy it. I don’t know if his mom will. I was very pleased when I received it. I pulled it out of the box to check it out.
