Q: Does it leak? I don't like the idea it is upside down do you need strong hands to close the lid?

It leaked a couple of times until I figured out I needed to really tighten up the blades lid onto the cup and make sure it was corretly screwed into the blender, with no room to move. Once you do that, it works very well. It does need strong hands to tighten it.

Q: How is the plastic jar working with hot soups?

I used it for a few day with hot liquid and cracks in the plastic began to appear and then it began to leak. So do not use for hot soup!

Q: Does it grind almonds into almond butter?

I haven’t tried it but I doubt it.

Q: There is no warranty information anywhere?

I literally contacted amazon yesterday as on the 3rd use it just stopped working for no reason at all. I didn’t do anything any different to the previous uses and the container was only half full with a drop of milk and some fruit. Amazon said that it is under warranty for 1year however if I return it they will issue a refund so intend to return it for ease. Really disappointed!
