Frost King C21CP-C Caulk Saver Bulk Contractor Pack, 3/8-inch Diameter x 350-feet Long, Grey

I bought this foam backer to use with caulking around my kitchen wood floor, and it worked better than expected. The material is sturdy yet flexible, making it simple to install without tearing or crumbling. It held its shape, created a clean base, and significantly reduced the amount of caulk I needed to use. Should have bought this from the start. I kept buying small amounts from Floor and Decor. Works well, very easy to use and flexible. The size is also perfect for small gaps. Definitely recommend it.

Great product for the money. I use it for all over the house.

This stuff works great for filling in cracks and crevaces. I wouldn't use it for anything very deep or else you'll need multiple layers. Same goes for anything large than half an inch roughly. Not big enough. The only gripe I have is the ease at which it flattens out. I used it to dampen the sound of a door closing which isn't it's intended use... It worked well but it's basically a pancake now and lost it's effectiveness. For filling in cracks though it works very well. I also used it around windows to form a better seal for winter where the window meets the pane.. in that sense. I'm happy it flattened out a bit. But for the price and amount of material it's a great but with a variety of uses.

The product is durable and easy to install. Perfect size of 5/8 inch (The 1 inch would have been too large and the 1/2 inch too small).

Easy to install. Filled the gap (you are supposed to leave) between flooring and the walls just fine. Snug fit but material still allows flexibility.

I got this thicker than most as i have 1cm gaps around the soffits and the colour blends in nicely but it is so easy to cut and fill in the spaces.

I went to Home Depot /Lowe’s to see what backer rod they carried and determine what size I might need. Based on the compression if their 1/2” I decided to order 5/8” from Frost King. But there is no comparison. The 1/2” compresses and stays pretty much compressed. The 5/8” from Frost King bounces right back. I obviously don’t need 5/8” so will await the Frost King 1/2”.
