Story-line takes a huge step forward
I really loved this book. I could not put it down, in fact I stayed up until 4:00 am to read it in one sitting. Boy I was tired the next day, but I could not stop thinking about the story-line or the characters. I really cared what happened to everyone, especially "Harry". I would suggest starting at the beginning of the series, otherwise you will miss small details that continue on in this book. Good reading, just not until 4:00 am.

Nicely expanded the storyline
Not sure how to explain what happened in this book. Even though it was a good follow up to the first in the series (which was outstanding), it seemed almost as though this was a transitional book. The singular purpose seems to have been to open the possible story arcs to greatly expand the universe. To follow later you will need to read this one, and it is worth reading, I just wish a few things had been different. That's my opinion, for what it's worth.

Great Sequel
I loved the book. It is a excellent continuation of the first story. The book moves at a fast pace and has plenty of action and intrigue. I was very surprised when the author killed off one of the characters from the first book. However it was done to further the story and it really adds to the plot. The only complaint I have is the writing was too stilted. The author needs to learn how to use contractions. Too many "I wills" and other phrases like that. Most people don't talk that way, especially military members

Dire need of an editor or beta readers
So many grammatical mistakes. That's really the only reason I removed the stars, but there seemed to be more than the previous book.Aside from that, an excellent entry in the Benjamin Jamison Chronicles. The story continues on with twists, turns, sadness, and redemption. This story is very much in the same vein as the previous: unstoppable MC that enemies fear, allies respect, and women want. I enjoy this series because it is fantastical; it is not how things would likely turn out but it is certainly fun. I almost wish politicians could be dealt with in the manner that Reaper handles them.I read another review that didn't like that Reaper could beat anyone. That every species of woman wanted to lie with Reaper. That Reaper handled things the blunt way that he did. This story is no different and I enjoy it despite how others feel. I just wish they're, were, fewer grammatical mistakes its distracting (done on purpose to emphasize).

A walk in the park, in another galaxy
There is so much going on, like a revolving door in motion. If you like a book with a very active lifestyle, this is it.All the characters in this book live a highly motivated life. They all are working toward something, but if they don'tsurvive they won't be alive to enjoy it, and so . . the motivation is a temporary response. From what I can recollect, the high stake players in this book just want a slow peaceful life really. To be just youraverage Joe and Jane down the neighbor block on the corner. But the universe has other plans for them. A chosen few, one might proclaim.A bitter sweet story full of tales. It took me much longer to read through this book 2, then it did book 1. I could easily put it down and walk away, but I knew I'd be back for another crack at it.I tend to like characters I can relate to, humans. this book introduces a few alien beings I just can't seem tofeel anything for, not sure why? Well, ones a intelligent sentient giant spider.Thank the gods, the author only added a few non-human characters. This series of books doesn't keep me awake, but I prefer sci-fi, outer space, military, shooters, battles. Thanks Mr. Wright.

Heart wrenchingly good
This was heart wrenchingly good. Not only is it more emotional than the first book but touches on ather emotions as well. We feel happiness, sadness, laughter and joy, most of all, you feel the emotions of the characters. What more can you ask for in a book?

Reaper inc.
Space opera supreme. A good read, lots of twist and turns to keep you reading. Sadness, anger, love, and a bunch of other emotions thrown in for the fun of it. I know I have to wait on the next installment, I just hope it is not a long wait. Thanks for the adventure.

Enjoyable series
This series is a fun little time waster. There's action, guns, adventure, swords, fights and aliens. Don't expect some sort of epic tomes full of deep meaning - these books are just fun romps, plain and simple.
