I was recommended by my friend to buy this. It’s really good for my family dog’s mouth. Odor is diminished obviously after 1-2 days. It’s a very good product for doggy :)

I've tried other similar products, giving them all a month or so to work with no success. I wanted to try this product too, feeling hopeful from the reviews. It's amazing and works in my cat's regularly cleaned fountain without any issue. He drinks water often and since there has been no change in his water intake since using this additive, I know he doesn't realize it's in there. The only change I've witnessed is positive, his breath becoming much better than I ever thought it could be. My boy is very squirmy when it comes to brushing, so I feel like this is a nice alternative to that. I've asked my vet how his teeth look every time I take him in for checkups and she's told me they look great. He's needed teeth extractions in the past, but I really believe this will help prevent any further series issues not related to genetics. I'm so happy to have found something that works!!

My cats don't tolerate having their teeth brushed, so I add this to their water daily. It was recommended by my vet, and we're pleased with the results. As soon as I get a new bottle I throw the pump away. Perhaps they have improved its design, but an old shampoo cap with a little hole works much better. When I called their customer service, the friendly representative explained that they were aware of problems with dripping and leaking but were determined to fix them in order to provide a precise dosage. Precision is an illusion, however. You are adding some product to a water bowl with no way to control how much each cat drinks. If you are doing your job right, the bowl will not be empty in the morning when you change the water, so some product inevitably goes to waste. It's not like preparing a syringe! Just squirt some reasonable amount in. They could make this more cheaply with less plastic. If not for the packaging I'd give it five stars. I'll definitely continue to buy it in any case.

Works great for dogs whom have dry mouth problems

We adopted a small rescue dog who came to us with significant tartar and his teeth and b pretty bad breath. We didn't want to traumatize him further with an immediate dental cleaning. I tried several other water additives I found in pet stores, but they all made him vomit and I felt terrible. In a last ditch effort I decided to try Oratene. It is well tolerated by him. I won't claim that it has shed all tartar from his teeth, but I think it has halted the accumulation. He drinks plenty and seems to be unaware of the additive, or else enjoys the taste. His breath is MUCH improved. This is my second purchase.

The product is great! Five stars. Cured our dogs breath as she is too old for another dental cleaning, etc. The problem is that the item is half the size 4 oz compared to the 8oz which is sold cheaper at other sites. My fault for not looking closely at the size before ordering. Just assumed that 18.99 would be the cost of the larger bottle.

I read lots and lots of reviews on this item. So many said their pets don’t know it’s in the water and have no problems. Unfortunately, from the very first time I tried it my cat would not drink the water. I’ve been using it for 2 weeks and still no luck. I’m out of money and it’s not Helping my Pet because she won’t drink.

We have been using this for years for my dog's bad breath. Easy to use. Just add two squirts with his water. The cost is kind of high but this bottle lasts for months
