If you want a mess-free henna experience, then you need this in your life!Up until now I would always take my henna off after an hour or two of application because I didn’t want to go to sleep with it and have henna crumbs falling all around me while sleeping.Last year, a henna artist applied “mefix tape” to my hand when I was going out in the rain and it worked so wonderfully to protect my hands.This year, I was hosting a henna party and I searched for mefix tape on amazon but found that mefix tape was way too expensive to supply to everyone.I decided to get this tape and let me tell you: it was the best decision ever!This tape worked perfectly in every way. I put my henna on first, then I let it dry completely (don’t put this on when your henna is wet or you will end up with a gloopy mess), and then I cut strips of tape to cover every area of my hand that needed it.This tape helped me so much because I was able to use my hands and get stuff done even after having henna on it. The tape holds well for a bandage that needs to be changed at least daily. It is flexible ( especially so for a 4" tape ) and breathable.Its four inch width covers a 2 - 4 inch gauze pad, eliminating the need for multiple strips of tape. The tape releases easier than ANY other tape I have used regardless of width. Just don't pull too fast, slow and steady works painlessly. The peel off backing may take a little getting used to, but with care I didn't waste any tape. The backing also makes the tape easier to cut than un-backed tapes and reduces or stops your scissors from gumming up.

I ordered this hypoallergenic tape to secure lidocaine patch to lower back. The tape is great in terms of securing and holding the patch in place and easy to use. I have lots of allergies to lots of stuff, and I really hoped this tape would really be hypoallergenic. Unfortunately, I developed a severe rash on my back after using it for three months. I experimented with this to make sure the tape was actually causing the rash. When I used the tape again after the initial rash had cleared up, the rash came back with a vengeance. I would recommend this tape, but if you do have severe allergies and sensitive skin, be careful and mindful when using this tape.
