hi i've connected the camera plus the mirror/monitor all working fine except when i start the engine not working anymore,anybody knows why?

It depends where you took your live connection to the camera from. If you only want it for reversing then splice into the live feed to the reversing light. When you select reverse the monitor should show the reverse view. If you want a permanent view from the rear of your car, you will need to pick up a live that is activated when the ignition is on. Refer to a vehicle manual. Car electrics are a nightmare now relying on canbus systems which prevents easy wiring tasks to be done!

Does it connect to mobile

Looking at the back of the unit it has a wire with a yellow connector. I think this will be the video (av) lead which if I am correct will be long enough to reach the head unit ( the dashboard screen of the car). Depending on the make and age of the vehicle it may be possible to connect the av lead to the video connector for the head unit. The problem there will be that you need to select a/ v on the car screen before the screen will carry the picture. Getting back to the question of the mobile phone I recall the question was being asked last year so I would suggest doing a google search. 
I reckon the best way is to order a 	BW 5.0 Foldable Digital TFT LCD Car Rear View Backup Monitor for Car Reversing Camera, Car Rearview Camara,CCTV Camera DVD and locate that on the dash top by the drivers A pillar. Can be folded if it is obstructing your view.
Hard wire the Sniper into the reversing light power wires and run power to the monitor from the same connection. This means the Sniper and Monitor only get power when the car is in reverse gear and you do not the wireless transmitter. 
One additional caveat is to check that the letters/ numbers on the registration plate are clear of the camera and that the plate can be easily read. Potential MOT failure if plate cannot be clearly and easily read. System working well.

Camera touching the letters - is it legal if the camera touches the top part of the letter of the registration plate?

On my 2017 MOT the tester added an advisory: Rule 001 number plate partially obscured but not likely to be misread.  On my 2018 test no mention was made. Plates and the numbers/letters have to be a certain size and distance apart. Your registration may have a bearing depending on which letters/ numbers are closest to the camera. You can also get camera units which straddle the number plate and can be  positioned in such a way as to avoid the problem of touching.
