USed the with my Lexar CF Express type As handling footage from FX6 - fast transfer, now connection issues and a solid build on the reader. Great low(er) cost option than some of the bigger brands.

Faulty - Cannot transfer files.
Plugged my type a card in and while I could remove files from the card, actually transferring files to the card results in an error. Shame as it seemed like a good price and quality, but simply does not work properly.

Type A Reader: Does the job for more than half the price of competitors
This review is for the SABRENT USB Type C CFexpress Type A Card Reader [CR-CFXA]. I'm not sure why other brands are charging $60+ and Sony is charging $100+ for their Type A readers but the Sabrent reader does the job at more than a 50% price discount. The cable is nice and thick and it stores away easily. It doesn't get hot at all during data transfer and Windows always recognize it. Save yourself the heavy research and skepticism as to why this is so much cheaper than others. Just buy it. You will not be disappointed.

Nice build quality - works perfectly
Nice design and build quality. Works perfectly with sustained high speed. It comes with a built-in USB-C cable. The cable is around 20cm including the plug - perfect for a laptop. Fora desktop, the cable is a bit too short to connect to the main plugs at the back of the machine. I connect it to a USB-C plug I have at the front of the case, (to avoid using extensions).

Very bad card reader
It stopped working within 2 months, after just 3 times usage. Cheap things never last.
