not removable at that makes it difficult to wash mine didn't last long because of this - when you wash it, the water goes inside and it will impossible to dry also, blew some fuses in our flat, it ended up in the rubbish quite quickly

MY VOCHA CAME WITH A UK PLUG & WORKS ON 230/240 V. IT SHOULD OPERATE ON THE US 110V SUPPLY BUT BE VERY SLOW TO HEAT AS THE HEAT IS THEORETICALLY PROPORTIONAL TO THE SQUARE OF THE VOLTAGE SUPPLIED, ie APPROX A QUARTER
