Not quite as tall as needed (back door is raised up). Just fits/works. Should be a bit cheaper because of this, as the thing is a bit wobbly...

it was broken when arrived (the bottom, black plastic part). a bit less sturdy than I would expect. Mind you: it was for a sliding door. I think for a normal work it wold work properly, but for sliding not at all, contrary with was is announced on the product description

Hard to fit, moves when in place. brough for a patio door but not quite what i thought. It may do for other door, although it would not reach to my door handles for a normal back door. I would ask questions before purchasing to ensure it fits as the hole are set and awkward trying to get correct fit

This is worth it for peace of mind. I had a friend go outside and test the UNLOCKED door with this in place… didn't budge! It's a great tool, easy to transport with you, and makes you feel way safer. The adjustable height is easy to use as well.

Nothing out of the ordinary here. The rod is relatively sturdy. The foot pad is nice with a bit of pivot, while the other end has a fork type plastic material (used to prop up under a door knob) that can be removed. I bought two of these used one on a sliding door while used the other to push onto a standard doorknob. It worked well in both instances. For the doorknob application I am a bit skeptical of how well it would hold because it was essentially the padded feet holding the entire security bar in place with the other end bracing the door knob. But it wasn't too bad. The pad was anti slip enough to provide as expected resistance on hardwood, but I can definitely see it not holding on slipperier surfaces. On the other end using the bar on a sliding door was pretty good as well. The security bar itself can only extend to certain length (that just means its not infinitely telescoping - there are specific indents that lets you adjust only to a limited amount of fixed lengths). This was a bit annoying as it meant that to lock the sliding door, the security bar was just inbetween two possible lengths. This was annoying until I removed the doorknob brace (which is removable). Then the security bar fit perfectly well. Overall exactly as expected and worked well. Would definitely recommend for sliding doors. Less of a big recommend for traditional doors but I think its serviceable for both functions.
