Wow! I did not know wine can be made at home and just gave this kit a try. This is so fantastic! This is ordinary jar with provision for air lock. Packing was good so reached to me without breakage.Package contains jar, air lock, sodium per carbonate and small sachet containing yeast and PROBABLY other ingredients like yeast nutrition, wine clarifiers etc.To adjust sugar level, one require either hydrometer or brix refrectometer to adjust sugar content of juice to achieve desired alcohol levels. Instructions are silent about it. They should provide instructions about how to calculate sugar required, what to do at the end of 7 days of fermentation, small notes on how to bottle / additional equipment required etc. Hydrometer is very low cost device which they should include with kit for additional cost.Instructions are absolutely inadequate for beginners so be aware.Edit: on 8th day, wine is transferred to bottles from jar, wine taste good. Clarity is little less than expected though. I made it from black grapes available in market, initial BRIX WAS 23 AFTER ADDING ABOUT 250 GRAMS OF LIQUID SUGAR. I haven't bought specific gravity meter so not aware about alcohol content.Edit 2 : Sachet should list all ingredient mixed in bag so that consumer knows what exactly is going in wine they are making.
