Good value but not the fastest with downloading
Great value. But as it was a cheap version it took ages to download. On asking a computer geek he said if you pay more you get faster download speeds. But what do I know!!

cheaper for this quality.
I recently got the Kingston DataTraveler Exodia Onyx USB Flash Drive, and it’s been awesome. The price-to-performance ratio is fantastic—you're getting a lot of bang for your buck. It’s super fast too, which is great for transferring large files quickly.Size-wise, it’s perfect—not too bulky but not so small that you’ll lose it easily. Plus, the sleek design and pleasant style make it a nice accessory to have. Overall, it's a solid choice if you need reliable and speedy storage without spending a ton.

Reliable brand name, but very slow writing speed
Cheap as chips for a well known and respected brand. Reliability presumed!Read speeds ok. Of course these will vary significantly depending on what's being copied and by what interface. Example: single 4GB video file was being read from the sick at around 60MB/sec using a USB 3 port on an oldish Dell Inspiron 7737 laptop.Writing speeds are relatively dire at around 1 to 3MB/sec at best average. I say 'average' as the writing figures and progress graphic displayed in the Windows dialogue box showed it cycling up and down from a few hundred kilobytes/sec to around 10MB/sec.This is not to berate it. You just need to understand what you're buying for what is an exceptional low price for a branded product. Definitely recommended where of course time is not of the essence when writing, so maybe best employed as a longer term backup solution.

Does the job
It's a flash drive and works exactly as expected. I use this to transfer ISO's between my pc and steam deck (router is a forced one from sky and it's terrible so FTP/LAN is not with the transfer time)

Kingston you have failed me!A total fiasco!!Dissapointment!
I bought theese once I have seen the offert 3 for the price of.. now it s changed. Most important I would like to express my opinion regarding the total dissapointment I experienced once I was due in for a presentation at the University, not one of the 3 I have purchased in the set has been usefull to me as they should, with the storage spage less than 10 % of what they claimed to be . When I tried to see if I can return them , guess what , the return window has ended ..I thought I was a Kinston fan until I bought theese..Return window closed on 22 Mar 2024Bundle Price: £17.91and by bundle I mean 3 flash drives of which 1 lost all the info and would not open , 2nd would not be recognised by any usb port and 3rd with a capacity to store of 11.56 GB out of what sould have been 128GB(well almost 128).What perplexed me the most is that after almost 1 month the return window closed... waw so not impressive! So to draw a line:-Value for money? there are worth nothing being the rubish that they are , still I paid almost £18(and lost) for them,-In terms of storage , please .. don't get me started,-Ease of use? no such thing.Theese are the reasons why I am so sorry to say this but.. Kingston you have failed me!

A decent product, but slow to write to
This is a decent 128GB USB drive. I paid £5.89 it came pre-formatted as FAT32, this shows in Windows as 115GB. I formatted to exFAT.The cover slights in an out to reveal the USB connector. The movement is quite stiff. On the plus side, it won't open accidently, on the negative, it's a bit difficult to open or close. The back has a piece for you to attach it to your key chain, it looks thick enough to last.I plugged it into a blue SS (SuperSpeed) USB port. The speed test. Read: 115 MB/s and Write: 37 MB/s. So marginly faster write speed than the AmzonBasics version in the CrystalDiskMark test, and at half the price. However in the real world test it was much, much slower.A 500MB file took about 50 seconds to copy. A 1.2GB file took about 1 min 50 seconds, so real world writing at 11 MB/s. That's pretty slow.
