Ice removes easily
Very happy with these ice cube trays. I do use a small plate underneath them to carry them to the freezer, also I leave them on the plate while freezing, for my convenience. I Would reccomend.

Worked as expected
These work just as expected- I had a student use them for a science fair project so I was using them for an unusual purpose. But they seemed to work just fine!

Too flimsy
The square cube maker works fine but the round mold is too flimsy and the top sucks in thereby losing the seal between top and bottom. The round mold arrived and looked and worked fine until the first batch of ice cubes were removed. After that the sides of the top part of the mold sucked in and wouldn't keep the water in to fill to the top.

kind of flimsy- need to place on a hard surface to fill, but the spheres come out great!
the ease of removal & the ability to keep drinks cool for longer

Decent molds
This package contained 5 pieces: A square six-part cube mold; a removable, white cover; a two-piece six-part sphere mold; and finally a small funnel for filling the individual sphere holes. The silicone material is quite flexible. Transferring freshly-filled molds into the freezer can be tricky because the molds don't have a lot of rigidity. The cube mold is pretty straightforward to fill up from a tap or pitcher.I misplaced the funnel for a time and found it's very difficult to fill the sphere mold up without it. You wind up with the water going into the grooves in the top of the mold, and you can't dump it off without pouring out most of the water in the spheres. This means the sphere mold isn't really useable without a funnel. Otherwise, you'll have to break off the extra ice.The frozen spheres do come out nice and easy, (provided you filled them with the funnel). Overall, I say this set is okay. It's a bit easier to get the ice out of them than the other brand of molds that I have, although the cubes/spheres from that set are bigger and therefore, last longer.

Makes Big Cubes! Makes Big Balls!
The media could not be loaded. With this product set, you receive a tray with a lid for making giant ice cubes. You'll also get a tray with a top and a tiny funnel to make ice spheres.Ok, let's begin with the good part...These do work to make giant ice cubes or balls of ice that look very cool in a cocktail. The trays and lids are made of silicone, so they are durable while also being very flexible. Silicone holds up well under extreme temperature conditions, either hot or cold. You can wash them in very hot water. We have even run ours in the dishwasher. Then fill em up, and place them into the freezer. Hours later, you got giant ice balls and cubes. Because of the durability of silicone, I believe that these will last for years. Now for some nit picking...The lid included with the cube tray is very thin and even feels a bit flimsy, despite also being made of silicone. It does it's job, but it takes considerable patience to properly fit the lid on to the tray. The lid is meant to seal over the tray by sliding the thin edges of the tray into the very narrow channel around the edge of the lid. It can be done, but it's only achieved through careful, patient manipulation.I have more problems with the ice sphere tray. Watch the attached video to see what I am about to explain...In order to make ice balls, you have to place the included top onto the tray, forming a chamber of sorts in which to fill with water, using a tiny funnel. (or six small individual chambers, one for each ice sphere) Problem is, it's difficult to tell when the chamber(s) are filled, since they are covered by a solid black lid. (a clear, see through lid would solve that issue) So, it's easy to overfill, spilling water on to your counter tops. Also, the lid doesn't form a very tight seal at all, so if you accidentally over fill the tray, the lid just floats on top of the excess water. For these reasons, I'm really not sure if I'll continue to use the ice ball tray... Maybe with a little practice I might overcome these issues, we'll see.In conclusion, I really like the concept of giant ice for cocktails, and the finished product is quite appealing, even if the process of making the cubes and balls can be slightly tedious. So, if you want giant ice cubes to make your cocktails not only cool, but cool looking, you might want to give this set a go...
