She told me stories of a woman in an airport surrounded by guards ready to escort her away because she wouldn’t give up her pointy tweezers and security wouldn’t allow them on a plane. She was swearing and begging - and rightly so, because these are the most consistently amazing tweezers ever. I have a pair of tweezers from tweezerman that I think are much better than these, and they were made in Italy. This pair of tweezers was made in India, and does not seem to grip the hair/splinter quite as well. It could be that I just needed to get a more expensive pair for that same excellent holding power. I think they're pretty good, but a little disappointing.
