A Smart Long-Game Tool for Breaking the Roach Cycle
A Smart Long-Game Tool for Breaking the Roach Cycle This is not the kind of product that gives you dramatic overnight results, but it is exactly the kind of product that makes sense if you are trying to solve a roach problem the right way instead of just chasing what you can see. An insect growth regulator works differently from a spray or bait, and that is what makes this useful. Instead of simply killing on contact, it helps break the reproductive cycle so the infestation has a much harder time continuing. What I like most is the format. These discs are easy to activate, easy to place, and much less messy than sprays. That makes them especially useful in cabinets, under sinks, behind appliances, laundry areas, bathrooms, and other spots where you want treatment working quietly in the background without coating everything in chemicals. The adhesive backing also makes placement simple. Another big plus is that this fits well into a more complete pest-control plan. If you are dealing with German roaches especially, you usually need more than one approach. These discs make sense as part of that strategy because they address the breeding cycle rather than just the visible bugs. I like products that work on the root of the problem instead of only the symptom, and this clearly falls into that category. I also appreciate that it is discreet and low effort once placed. No strong smell, no spraying, no daily maintenance. You put them where needed and let them do their job over time. For kitchens and other sensitive areas, that kind of quiet setup is a real advantage. The reason this earns 5 stars from me is that it is designed for realistic pest control, not just quick emotional satisfaction. Roach control usually takes persistence, and this is the kind of product that supports that process well. It is especially valuable if used early, before a smaller issue becomes a much bigger one. The main thing to understand is that this is not a standalone miracle fix for every situation. If there is a serious infestation, you still need good sanitation, sealing of entry points, and often bait or other control methods as part of the overall plan. This works best as part of a system, not as a one-step cure-all. Overall, this is a very practical product for anyone serious about getting control of a roach problem and reducing the chances of it bouncing right back. Bottom line: An easy-to-use and very worthwhile addition to a serious roach-control plan, especially because it helps break the breeding cycle instead of just dealing with the insects you happen to see.

roaches be gone!
This is my second order of these IGR discs. I live in Florida in the woods, and we have roaches. I don't often have them in the house, but they love the environment outside my house. When I first encountered Asian cockroaches, I thought they were the dreaded German cockroaches. I did some research and found out they were not, and prefer to be outdoors, but they're still annoying! I would find them flocking to my garage door and car doors, which sometimes meant they would make it inside the house or car. I'd find them in the mailbox, my trash cans, and in my horse barn. I placed these discs around my property in various places and have noticed a significant difference in the population of roaches, big and small. Last summer when I started using them I would have hundreds of the Asian roaches on the garage door (they're attracted to light). I have kept the discs up and replaced every few months to control the population, as this product sterilizes roaches so they can't reproduce. This summer, I haven't had anything like what I saw last summer which has been a huge relief as even though they're tiny, they're gross! I will continue to use this product. It's easy to apply with no mess, covers a large area, and no smell either. Just make sure you have some strong thumbs to crack the activator part of the disc. They are pricy, but it's worth it for me to know the roaches can't make more roaches and see such drastic reduction in their numbers! Of course I will still see the occasional roach, because this doesn't kill them. I use Home Defense around my house for those that wonder in from outside my zone of death :) I also use Advion, but I am not sure how effective it is. I see the little squirts of product looking untouched in many places I apply. If you have a roach problem, this is not an immediate solution, but it is definitely a long term solution to use alongside a pesticide.

THE ROACH ERADICATOR
Research has shown that one female cockroach can reproduce one million roaches in six months. Imagine how many babies one hundred female cockroaches could reproduce in six months. Cockroaches can live up to seven years depending on the type of roaches in the infestation and the surrounding environmental conditions such as available food, water sources and the abundance of places for them to safely nest. This rapid reproduction factor combined with their potential longevity are two of the reasons that cockroaches are so hard to get rid of - especially German cockroaches. However, if we can eradicate roaches on these two fronts we can shorten the time that it takes to get of a roach infection. Realistically, one should allow between three to six months to completely eliminate a roach infestation. GENTOL is not a poison; it is instead a growth regulator that that prevents prepubescent roaches from reaching full adult maturity, thus making them incapable of reproducing. This can greatly shorten the time that it takes to get rid of any roach infestation. GENTOL works best when it is used in combination with a poisonous gel. I have chosen Advion Cockroach Bait Gel as my preferred poison. This gel does not immediately kill the roaches. Therefore, it allows more time for them to carry the poison back to their nests where it will kill off the baby roaches. And, because roaches wil often eat each other these cannibalistic roaches, who eat these dead poisoned roaches, will consume their poison and die soon thereafter. Amazing results can be achieved with Advion Cockroach Bait Gel within three days, as you most likely will find hundreds of dead roaches everywhere that Advion Gel has been properly applied. These two companion products should be administered as part of a predetermined three to six month program; even one overlooked egg-bearing cockroach can start the cockroach infestation all over again. How long it takes to get rid of a cockroach infestation depends on the extent of the infestation, the type of cockroaches that you have, the quality of the irradiation products that you use and how effectively and diligently you apply them. And, keeping one's home environment as clean as possible will also contribute to a faster elimination of an infestation. The tiniest crumb can become a feast to a hungry cockroach; these tiny and often unnoticed food particles can also lure roaches away from the poisonous bait and thus can significantly extend their life expectancy. Don't wait! Cockroach infestations can spread very quickly. And, the longer you wait to get started the harder it will be to get rid of the infestation. Cockroaches are not only unsightly, they can also be extremely dangerous to your health. Their feces can cause serious allergenic bronchial infections and they can also carry dangerous bacterial and staff diseases. I will provide an update to the efficacy of GENTOL after three months of continued use. But, for now I am very satisfied with GENTOL and Advion Cockroach Bait Gel. After only two weeks almost all of the visible cockroaches are gone. Both of these two companion products can be purchased from Amazon. I highly recommend these two roach eradicators and give them both five super big happy-faced stars.

Actually got rid of ALL of the cockroaches with monitoring in storage unit and sticky traps
Used this when moving to put all of my belongings in storage unit quarantined after German roaches at apartment and landlord not responsive despite it coming from adjacent unit and legally his responsibility. I tried to explain by doing the least amount of spraying over the longest time it will cost you more plus I’m breaking the lease due to unlivable conditions. Roaches in all electronics, cardboard, everything. I put it all in storage set these up and it reduced population to 0 cockroaches found in glue traps after a month of treating it, the storage unit is VITAL. Find a place without access to water- no bathrooms or leaky pipes near your unit, pay the monthly fee until they work. Crack open all of them according to instructions wear gloves, DO NOT GET in eyes! Set up sticky max catch traps scented peanut butter ones around the unit parameter and inside, and replace traps every few days to a month. These were super effective in ending it, easy to use, and way more cost effective than hiring a professional to treat the whole unit or throw out all of my belongings. NEVER bring things home or inside anywhere until you are 100% certain there is no roaches, shake the crap out of it. Some roaches lay eggs, I’m lucky German roaches females carry them until they lay it live hatching. Becareful you don’t bring home a single female roach or egg casing!!! Each one is 50+ roaches and they can reproduce an infestation from one tiny egg casing!!! Don’t use just kill bait it never worked for our German roaches, MAKE SURE there is no water source not even drops they can survive without food just on water for a LONG time!!!
