Replacement for Thetford IV easy to install and fit perfectly. I went from the low to high feature and I was concerned that the cabinet under our sink would be affected, but it opens as well as it had with our older toilet. Good price, fast shipping and quality toilet. A++++

Hooked up and working well

When they say high profile, they are not kidding!It's a bit uneasy being up that high and you can't get any pressure for power pooping when your feet dont touch the floor, but after we raised the floor and added a ladder, it wasn't to bad, I like the ease of installation and the foot flush in the front is super.Great toilet especially for those with giants in the lineage.

This is a nice RV toilet....easy to install if you've done before...there were no instructions. But, if you uninstall the old one, it's easy to install new one.

Everything is flushing well indeed, nice and high to sit on, and the no slam lid is a lot nicer than my old one.

It was so easy to install and all the hardware was included. All assembled...

When looking for a replacement toilet, we found it difficult to obtain information on toilets from different manufacturers in place of Thetford. In the end we figured better safe than sorry and bought this Thetford.Well we ARE SORRY. It's absolutely a piece of junk. I concur with all the other critical reviews. The toilet is defective. I'm a normal man who weighs 205#, in shape and by no means heavy. Heavy I am though for this toilet! The flimsy plastic construction bent during my first use. See photos. The front of the base buckled. Where is this made? No quality control? Given that it seems they are manufactured in Michigan and Europe, with EU HQ in the Netherlands, I am shocked by the poor quality. They should be ashamed to produce such shoddy products. I'd expect this from China, Bangladesh or other outsourced, developing-nation location. Let's see if they stand behind their website statement, "Thetford prides itself on creative design and is committed to the production of high-quality products that exceed the needs of a demanding marketplace.". I want a full refund. Amazon charged a restocking fee of $31!!

Yes, it does feel a bit precarious because of the height compared to the short one we replaced. But I doubt a different toilet brand would do a better job of replacing what we had. And even if one could, I would much rather have the aquamagic slide-open drain opener than the ball type, which seem to be more prone to wearing out.Just don't put your weight forward on the seat when you're sitting on it or when you go to stand up.

Well made

Toilet is high profile. Love it. Flushes very well. It has an independent lid closer to offer close both together. Seat closure is great if you have kids that don't put the seat back down. Buy it you'll like it. I did buy a riser from here as well. It elevates a shorter toilet. That worked well before I needed this one.

Nice appearance, easy to work with and install.Three suggestions for the manufacturer The water hookup is located higher than the Dometic 210 model. A braided hose should be added, the same size fitting on each end. Also, the self-closing lid (a nice feature), but it's not very responsive, a long time to close and stiff spring for opening. Last, it would be nice to have a manual and parts list.
