How to remove the ice ball?

This ice cube mold is easy to release. After taking it out of the refrigerator, it's easier to open by running some water over it first. Then simply give it a twist and the ice balls will quickly release.

Is it time consuming to fill this large ice cube tray?

Filling ice mold up all at once under the faucet or pour in enough water to fill all the mold. Unlike traditional round ice cube mold that require using a funnel to fill them up one by one.

Do they make these in 1 1/2"?

I don't think this manufacturer does but I have these, as well some that are approximately 1 1/2 inch so you can definitely find them on Amazon if you put the size in your search term. There are many sizes of ice ball molds. Good luck!
