My husband has been sticking waded up paper in his shoes for years and I finally got tired of finding little scraps of paper on the closet floor. I purchased these shoe trees and I'm so glad I did. The arrived nicely packaged. They're light weight and easy to use. We don't use them for stretching his shoes, but rather to keep them in good shape. When they get wet, they're also excellent for helping the shoes retain their shape. The fit all different types of shoes, including runnings, professional, and hiking shoes.

Okay these are great. Someone said something about them breaking. I mean maybe if youre super rough with them, but if you slide them in the shoe and lock them in you shouldn't have issues. I mean they are a big improvement over the cardboard inserts they came with so im happy. Much cheaper than the wooden ones, which im sure are great but these do the job. Im going to pick up a set for a stocking stuffer which yeah doesnt sound super exciting but its not something people get for themselves and also ill put fun stuff in the stocking too, not just a shoe insert...they will be well taken care of, dont you worry.

These worked well in keeping the shoe stretched out preventing creases. The plastic light weight and vented to allow the shoe to dry. Easy to adjust. Pros: Easy to adjust. Fold up for storage. The venting allows shoe to dry. Cons: Does not fill the shoe as well as a wooden shoe tree. At the largest setting it becomes a little unstable and can twist to the side as you lock it in place. I would buy again but watch the sizing to get the best fit.

Easy to use and durable enough. Fits my men size 12 lengthwise on the very last notch, but it is too narrow to properly support my medium width shoes. I understand this product is made for a large range of shoe sizes and the width probably accommodates smaller sizes or women’s shoes just fine. Guess I was just a little overly optimistic and can’t justify paying $20 a tree for cedar ones.

Does what it is supposed to I guess. Does not keep the shoe shape the greatest especially with Nike dunks and sneakers. Good for its price but not the best quality. I recommend buying the wooden ones.

Great price and quality! They are sturdy, made out of very hard plastic, but the design makes it easy to use.

I bought these to use in my winter boots while cleaning, conditioning, and waterproofing them. I chose the men’s size for extra width, and the fit works well in my barefoot style boots. There’s a little wiggle room along the sides once inserted, so I wouldn’t expect them to stretch shoes, but they’re great for holding shape while drying or working on boots. The length adjusts to accommodate a wide range of sizes. I’ve used them in women’s size 10 and youth size 5 boots. It takes a bit of trial and error to find the right notch, but once set, they work as expected. (In my pics, blue lines mark the open notches to give an idea of adjustability.) For basic, plastic shoe trees, these do exactly what I hoped they would, and the set of 5 allows me to work on several pairs at a time.
