This cooler was way nice than I was expecting for the price I paid. It's a canvas like material outside and a sturdy reflective material inside. It's sewn well and has an easy access flap on the top to get put beer without having to zip and unzip the cooler. I bought it for a friend and then got myself one.

My husband and I bought this to take on our 725 mile trip to Colorado this Summer. We were able to pack all the pop, water, sandwiches, snacks, etc. that we wanted. It saved us so much money not having to stop and buy gas station food all the way down there. Also, this is SO easy to carry. He wanted to get a big, plastic ice chest, and I wanted nothing to do with either of us having to lug that around, so when I found this and saw it had a shoulder strap, I was all in. We used the freezer bottles, some freezer packs I already had that I use in my work lunch bag, and we also added some ice. Everything was cold for 12 hours plus, which was amazing! The 40 can size was plenty big for us, but if you have children and want to take the type of things we did, I'd suggest sizing up. I also love that this will be used again. I am a teacher and sometimes bring drinks for my students. This will give me a way to keep them cold in the classroom without having to lug a bunch of ice around or take up space in my room with a mini-fridge. Multi-use makes it an even better purchase. I highly recommend this. It would be good for short day trips, picnics, or just anytime you need to keep something cold that you are traveling with. It is also easy to wipe clean!

We're going on a holiday to Europe later in the summer and need a cooler bag that can collapse and hold lunch or cold groceries, etc...I just received this bag so I can't comment on durability or ability to keep things cold, but I can review the look and size.Look: The bag looks well made and stylish. The zippers run smoothly, the material feels comfortable, the walls are thick... I like that both myself and my husband could carry it without feeling like it's too girly or masculine. The pockets are a nice touch: two side pockets, a larger zippered pocket and a smaller pocket at the front. The handles feel sturdy and the Velcro top sticks down well (but not too well).Size: This is more tricky, it was the hardest part of choosing a cooler online. This bag is tall enough (just) to fit 5 stacked bento style lunch boxes. There isn't a lot of room left over afterwards unless you take the (included) icepacks out and turn the boxes. There is enough room for three or four plastic disposable water bottles. (More if they are laying down? I didn't have any to try out.)The icepacks feel like cheap plastic and they have some sort of whiteish powder inside. No idea what that is, but I didn't want to fill them up before we get to Europe so I hope they don't leak.I will update the review if there is anything that goes wrong with this product.Update after 8 months:I am so glad we bought this cooler! It was perfect! We used it to move around Europe with some groceries so we didn't have to keep eating out the whole time. It was big enough to hold all the cold groceries for my family of 5 as we moved, but small enough to be used as a cool bag for our lunches on day trips. The pockets are awesome, the top opening door was super handy for a. easy access and b. for the odd occasion that something was just slightly too tall for the bag. I loved that it had a separate pocket for the ice blocks (which did not leak).We have used in several times since our trip and I expect we will for years to come. Quality!

I have been using one of those Freshly/Hello Fresh boxes that come with re-freezable gel packs to transport food for my trips -- those gels have kept food cold for 2-3 days. As the boxes have started to fall apart, I was on the lookout for a properly insulated bag that could hold those gel packs while still allowing me to carry a large amount of food or drinks. One such choice is the YETI brand, and even though I have had a chance to use one of those, they are heavy and expensive. When I came across this no-name Canway bag, the price fit the bill.PROS- Inexpensive- Large capacity- Multiple outside pockets to carry light items, and an internal one to carry the included, reusable ice packs- Fits the gel packs perfectly- Insulation worked well during a 3-day trip to Yosemite- Top has an access pocket so you don't have to open more of the bag than needed (and let out the cooling escape)- Bag is collapsible, making it easier to put away than the empty Freshly/Hello Fresh cardboard boxes- Fabric seems well-madeCONS- I have a hard time finding anything bad about it, but if I have to be super picky, there are no mesh pockets to store wet itemsNOTE- The reusable ice packs have a white powder in them. Do NOT throw them away! They turn into the cooling gel once mixed with about 2/3 of water- Ice packs take about 8 hours to completely freezeOverall, I like the bag. Loved using this cooler this past summer. It was perfect to take to the beach and fit perfectly in our wagon. When not in use I just fold it down. Nice and compact. Love that there's a top flap for easy grabbing.

I love this bag! It comes with 2 ice packs, it's got so much room. My 16 month old has allergies so I have to be prepared with snacks and food. This helped so much on our road trip.

This is a very nice cooler works well for our family. Well made
