How, exactly, is it fitted please? (I'm thinking of replacing the existing, badly tarnished one.)

1. Remove the screws securing the latch mechanism to the inside of the door, and the bolts (if any) securing the latch mechanism to the mounting plate. 2. Carefully remove the latch from the barrel key (thin strip of steel that the barrel turns the latch with) .3. Unscrew the ling bolts in the plate clamping the Yale barrel to the door. 4. Remove the barrel and swap out the pull brass fitting.5. Reverse the above procedure to reassemble.
