Easy installation and flawless performance!
I picked up this hardwire kit for my IIWEY EY02 dash cam, and it’s been a great decision. If you want a tidy, always-on setup without the hassle of plugging into your car’s 12V socket, this kit is a must-have. The kit includes everything you need — the hardwire cable itself, multiple fuse tap options, and detailed instructions that even a non-expert like me could follow. The cable length is generous, which made routing it behind panels and trim very easy, even in a larger car. Installation took about 30 minutes start to finish. I used the fuse tap to connect it to an ignition-switched circuit, so the camera turns on and off automatically with the car — no more forgetting to plug it in or worrying about battery drain. The low voltage protection feature is brilliant too, cutting power to the camera if your car battery dips below a safe level. Build quality is solid — the wires are thick and well-insulated, and the connectors feel secure. I’ve driven through rain and heat and haven’t had a single issue with power dropout or flickering. It also supports parking mode, which has been a game-changer. The dash cam now records if someone bumps or approaches the car while parked, which gives peace of mind when leaving it overnight or in public car parks. Only thing I’d note is that if you’re unfamiliar with car electrics, it’s worth watching a YouTube guide or getting a mechanic to help. But the process is very manageable with basic tools and patience. Overall, this hardwire kit has taken my dash cam setup to the next level — cleaner, more convenient, and far more functional. If you’ve got an IIWEY EY02 (or a compatible model), this is well worth it. Highly recommended!

VERY GOOD PRODUCT

Easy to install a child could do it.
Good quality, hardwire kit. Has all known fuse types with it to fit into your fuse board. My fuse boards are located in the boot and the bonnet, I had to wire into the back of the radio and fan controller main feed as it was the only option for my car but it works great.

Almost perfect
Plenty of cable for the majority of cars, excellent choice of fuse taps supplied to suit any application. Instructions could be better but probably shouldn’t be attempting to fit this if you don’t already have a fairly good idea of what you are doing. I did have an issue during installation but turned out to be a bad earth, good enough for my meter to read but not good enough to power the kit, swapped earth position and all good. My only criticism of this kit is that it comes with a straight USB C plug, the dash cam it is designed for, and probably most dash cams, use a 90 degree right angle connector, not a deal breaker but it does make for a tidier installation. I just added a short extension cable which solved the problem.

Easy to fit and will cover almost every car
This is a good kit, very easy to install and with a great selection of taps, my only problem was that I didn't have a convenient earth so I had to strip some of the outer cover which wasn't particularly easy without damaging the insulation on these very fine wires. If you want the added features on dashcam that require hard wiring, this is an easy way to do it.

Length of opperation
Only lasted a couple of months before it then broke, intermittent power then finally stopped altogether
