Best radar detector for the money
Been using the MAX 360 MKII for a while now and it’s been awesome. The range is excellent and the directional arrows really help you know where the signal is coming from. Compared to older models (and definitely compared to cheaper brands), the response time is faster and the false alerts are way less frequent. It pairs up with the Escort app, which is a nice bonus—gives you real-time updates and more situational awareness. The display is easy to read, the voice alerts are clear, and everything just works smoothly. It’s not the cheapest option out there, but you definitely get what you pay for. If you’re serious about avoiding tickets and want reliable performance, this is a great choice.

Best detector out of any I’ve used or my friends have!!
This radar detector I’ve been using now for over 6 months, this thing works amazing!! It gets quieter as I used it and still beeps less and less as it learns locations, it’s caught signals up to a mile away with police traveling towards me so basically 2 miles!! The only issue I can see is that once in awhile it loses connection with the app as I have it opened in the background so then doesn’t show speed limit on the detector screen but easily can get it reconnected by either going back to the app or reopening the drive smarter app, I use Waze paired with it as more users use Waze than the drive smarter app, but between the detector and Waze it’s pretty tough to get caught! I’d buy this again in a heart beat! My buddy is going to also buy one now as he’s seen how ell mine works compared to his cheaper unit.the arrows are great as you know where the alert is coming from and if it’s what you thought it was or not or multiple alerts in same area as arrows will change as you drive past what’s causing the alerts. If you want a great detector then look no further as this thing is phenomenal!! It’s going on my motorcycle very shortly also….just wish the app had a setting that could send the beep alerts through your phone so the beep could go through speakers when on a motorcycle or louder vehicle, it will send spoken alerts through phone but that is t the same as the beep that most are used to. Overall I can’t complain one bit about it! Get one and enjoy your piece of mind! Ps: I bought mine on Black Friday sale…..

Wonderful Radar Detector!
Admittedly what you're about to read is also mostly what I wrote for the Escort MAX 360c MKII, i.e. the version that has wireless. You see, I bought *this* one first, and then I found that I actually wanted the wireless, and plus I thought the grey/black shell matched my interior better, so I gave the non-wireless version to my wife and kept the wireless one for myself. Maybe I'm selfish, but oh well. Okay, that said, here's the rest of the review, slightly edited for the non-wireless version that has a slightly different aesthetic.I love this radar detector. I'm coming from an Escort 9500IX, which was about 10 years old and gave me false alerts all the time since more and more cars now use radar for alerts, alarms, and self-driving. So I wanted something that was updated, gave me lots of options, and was easy to use. The Escort MAX 360 MKII Laser Radar Detector fits that description perfectly. So far nearly every time it's alerted me to active radar, I've seen law enforcement nearby. I'm sure there are sometimes when they're just very well hidden and I don't see them, but I haven't had a single obvious false alert yet. It used to be the case that I'd know if I was close to a Honda or Acura, but I don't have to worry about that any longer. No more false alerts, and I can be confident that it's picking up legitimate signals.I also like a lot of the different user options. I won't go into all of them here, but it's very robust in the amount of options you have in terms of detectable signals, when to alert you to overspeeding or other alerts, and display options. I do which I could remove the mph and speed limit readings, but to remove those it then gives you a voltage reading, which I care about even less than those. So there are a ton of options. This version doesn't have WiFi installed, but it does have Bluetooth, so it connects to your phone easily, and you can do updates via your PC, which is seemingly infinitely faster than the WiFi anyway. So really you're not missing out on a ton by going with the non-WiFi version, and you'll save some cash.I don't use the Drive Smarter app. To be honest, I find it an annoyingly subpar verison of Waze, which, in my opinion, is inferior to what Google Maps has become and Apple Maps hopes to be. I would much prefer if there was some way to integrate the reporting functionality of this app with Google Maps or another mapping app, as I just prefer the display options those apps have over Drive Smarter. But that's just personal preference.I want to make one other note, too: this radar detector is pretty hefty in terms of size. It's not overly huge, but it's way bigger than my 9500IX was. But what was really nice about this radar detector is the aesthetic. The display has several color options, and I really like the blue. The outer case of this one is a sort of navy blue, so just know that going into it if you think it might clash with your interior (if that's important to you). If it does, then you might consider the WiFi (MAX 360c) version instead, which has a grey/black shell.

Best radar detectors!
Cheaper than a ticket for sure. These work great, and last a long time. They no longer alarm from the radar most cars have for blind spot alarms in newer cars. The gps function is also great, it locks out signals that dont move after a couple of times of seeing it. So your daily commute will only alarm for a cop. Super star performers in radar detectors.

Very good range
Very happy with this radar detector. With the exception of a few instant on radars it catches them way before you can see the officer.
