This was a cheap alternative to a ZOOM pedal for a Zoom drum machine. Works a treat with a strong spring so it’s not floppy when you press it. Plastic appears a good quality and cable length is fine for what I need. It’s an open switch so when pressed it completes the connection making it closed, there is no switch for polarity so it is what it is. It was one of the cheapest I could find but it was a branded item too

Cheap, robust, good cable length, works faultlessly. It was purchased to augment my Korg KR Mini rhythm machine, which it does perfectly. Two such pedals can be accommodated, and so now that I know how good it is, I have bought another.

Well I'm considering for some reason buying my fourth of these but probably won't. I'm a little torn because of the pros which are: Very hefty build quality, low profile, very visible great on stage and faultless silent switch. But here's the thing - the cable is rubbish and has failed on two units now. Its impossible to fix too as you're never quite sure where its failed, you suspect its near the junction with the pedal and Ive snipped that bit out with success only to have it fail again a little later. These types of switches are always crap - guess the Chinese can't make durable cable. I think Ill try a footswitch with a removeable cable in future.

it's my first ever korg hardware, enclosure is metal and the attached cord is flexible rubber, back-tension of the cap when pressing has good weight to it and the stroke/travel is good enough .. it's genuine & made in japan

Pédale Miniature super et solide, une conception simple. Intérieure à contacteurs bi-lames asse silencieuse. Elle est toute en métal et non en plastique (contrairement aux mauvaises langues...), donc pour des modifs filaire BF etc... c'est idéale. je la conseille pour des personnes maniaque et qui aime l'esthétisme du produit. elle est fiable et durable, construit au japon.

The two best things about the Korg PS-1 is that it is made of a very sturdy metal casing and it's bright yellow colour is easily seen when positioned on the floor. I prefer the PS-1 being made of metal vs the Korg PS-3 which is encased in an all black plastic lessening the durability and making it more difficult to see when on a dark floor. I was fortunate to be able to purchase the limited edition KORG ARP 2600 FS in which this is the absolute perfect pedal for it. I am very happy with the performance, durability, and weight of this foot pedal.
