Not suitable for all cars
This stop button did not work for my car. It pushed in but my car needed it to turn to start. My car for reference was a mercedes SLK 2010, so not applicable for this age car.

I don't know why my car did not come with a push button (push-to-start) when I bought it, but I was curious why a 2017 Mercedes C300 would be a key-start automobile. I inquired when I had some maintenance work performed, and the service manager advised that it was a simple plug-n-play add on and he could order me one from Mercedes Benz, for $54! I immediately went on Amazon and ordered one for $12! It arrived within a couple days, and took all of 20 seconds to install! (Should have looked into purchasing one the day I bought the car, instead of waiting 3 weeks!)
