Wonderful feel but very highly fragranced
It’s not even a bad fragrance, either! Earthy and spicy, it reminds me of a cider. Great to smell. Unfortunately my skin is highly sensitive to fragrance and, while I did have less beard and mustache dandruff, it reddened and irritated the skin below.(I know it’s not the salicylic acid that irritated my skin; my skin is highly tolerant of it as I’ve used it to treat my acne over the years)My friend who I gave it to after the adverse reaction *loves* it, and it smells fabulous on him.Great product, wish it was fragrance-free.

Perfect for coarse, flaky beards.
I’ve tried everything from Jack Black to Olaplex and I believe this is the winning formula. My beard is about 4” long, wiry, dry and coarse. Everything before this was too protein-rich and would cause all sorts of build-up, flaking and breakouts beneath the beard. The Salicylic acid works well with the oil to keep skin clean and free of breakouts/buildup underneath long beards, while the blend of natural oils moisturizes my coarse hair and tames flyaways. I hope Baxter NEVER discontinues this product.

Makes me smell like a gingerbread man
There's a short window of time around Christmas when smelling like a cinnamon cookie might be okay. I'd rather not smell like that the rest of the year. Returning it.
