The small opening in the top of the bottle, it's a plastic inset, lets you just shake however many drops you think you need. So you use and waste less. You really only need the bare minimum as it's so slippery and spreads easily across your skin. I can literally feel as it dries or soaks in which is fast to note as well that my skin starts to tighten up. After it's fully absorbed when I touch my face it is soft as a baby's behind I kid you not. Silky, soft, and smooth. I couldn't decide to be honest if i need or should even use a moisturizer or not. I did a few times but I get the sense it must be hydrating or at least doing something in that regard if it is making my skin feel that incredibly soft. So other times I've just not bothered and just went directly to bed.I really like True Botanicals Natural Microbiome Enzyme Essence but the scent or fragrance at some points has this weird smell to it and then others I don't find it that way. It's not enough to make me NOT want to use it especially the condition it leaves my skin. I rarely say things like "I would highly recommend it" to facial products if any out there but in this case being the first enzyme essence I've ever tried and my experience with it, I definitely would recommend the product.

My first impression was that the watery consistency made this much more like a toner than a serum. My skin absorbs it quickly, and it does seem to make my face feel hydrated. I’m using it in the morning before applying my moisturizer, eye cream , and sunscreen.Next to scent on the product page, it states pineapple. Then further down under natural scent, it says light ginger. I had trouble identifying the scent, so perhaps it’s a combination of both? I’ve only been using this for 14 days. It is like a serum, because it is hard to see or attribute any specific results to it! I definitely haven’t noticed the soft, plump, dewy looking complexion that is described, but it is early days of using it.It doesn’t say how much to use so I’m going with less rather than flooding my skin with this essence.So far, no bad results but I also can’t see any improvements in my skin. Patience. I did do two days of patch tests and had no negative results.

Not at all what I expected. It took me a bit to finally open it so now the return window is closed unfortunately but I have seen absolutely ZERO change in my skin and the formula is pretty sticky, tacky. I really don’t like that I have seen absolutely no results at all. If anything my skin looks worse. Terrible purchase. Very disappointed.

I've been using this microbiome enzyme essence from True Botanicals for the last 30 days. I've found that my skin tone is more even and refreshed. I've also noticed that my dry skin seems more normal and with less flaking in my problem areas. I still use my usual moisturizer, of course, but the difference is evident from when I used the moisturizer alone vs including the essence in my daily routine. I look forward to more improvement with continued use. The essence is thin and it only takes a few drops at a time. The large bottle should last a long time. I'm obsessed with this essence - it's better than SKII and half the price. I find the product smells wonderful and use after cleansing before finishing my routine. I don’t have acne issues. My skin can be dry, maybe more combination. I was looking for a product that can give me more radiance. It's light and refreshing. I believe it's beneficial for my skin as I've seen some improvement. I've only been using it for a month. The bottle will last for quite some time.

I have really enjoyed the way this smoothed my skin in such a gentle way and the results have been fast! Since it’s the summertime I tend to stay away from harsher ingredients as I do have a job that takes me outside and I try to keep my skin from being overreactive.This has everything great and soothing into, green tea, ginger, aloe and other various fruits for a natural exfoliating experience..I do appreciate there being prebiotics to help build up a better skin microbiome, this is important because that helps keep your skin barrier healthy and less reactive to the environment around it.This does have a shorter open bottle shelf life, 6 months, which is not going to be an issue of this product is used daily. But if you are like me and have multiple toners/essences you like to use depending on the day and how tour skin is, it’s something to keep in mind.I would recommend this and do see myself repurchasing later to keep in rotation with my other products.
