Best bang for your buck available
I skate 1-2 times a month so I wanted a decent pair of skates but also didn't want to shell out 500 bucks for something I just do occasionally. That's when I stumbled across these and saw they had my size in an Amazon like new return for$84. I pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier. They showed up and had obviously never been worn. These replaced a pair of riedell darts with upgraded bones bearings that I've used for like 7 years. These skates blow the darts out of the water. Everything about them is better. They fit/wear better, the boot is more comfortable and the heel lock system actually works. These wheels are harder (98a) than I've previously used but I only share on wood rinks so they work great!I would've been happy with these even if I had a paid the regular listing price.Would totally recommend. These skates are a great value that offer a lot for the money.

Good skates.
Good skates for the price. Had to tighten the trucks quite a bit for my weight (225lbs). Also recommend checking the plate bolts before using. The wheels are pretty slick for indoor rink use. Hopefully they get better grip as they break in.

Perfection
Received these skates 2 days early. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. These skates are perfect. Fit is spot on true to size. The leather is soft as butter. There should be minimal breakin time. Someone mentioned they were heavy and they are not. There surprisingly light weight. Great wheel roll right out of the box. These are exactly what the manufacturer states. Skates made by skaters for skaters. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE. Great skates.

Make you believe they are Leather. Sizes are HUGE!!! A 9 seems as if it were an 10.5

Extremely Uncomfortable
I’ll start by saying I had to order 3 pairs of these to get one I could skate. I started at size 10 because I wear a 10.5/11 and Amazon said they are true to size. That was the first problem. The size 10 was at least a size and half too large. So I got a 9. It comes and fits better but boots are far too narrow. The next problem was that the threads in the left boot for the toe stop were cut so poorly that I couldn’t even remove the jam plug without a tool. I got it out and saw the threads were visibly cut wrong. My feet are slightly wider than average at the widest point. Now comes the next problem, massive hot spots that are strangling the big joint on the inside of my foot and also on the outside. It’s squeezing my toes so hard after a quick skate session I thought my feet were going to be bleeding. The only way I could make them bearable was by loosening them so much they feel unstable. I am not overweight and skated for many years as a kid and wanted to get back into it. My old skates were Riedell 395 in a size 8.5 or 9.On the plus side these skates look nice and the plates are pretty decent. The wheels are too hard and take too long to break in, the axle nuts were tightened too tight and almost crushing the bearings so I loosened them up so they could spin but still wouldn’t spin more than a few rotations so I replaced them with Bones Reds. Much better but the wheels still slide too much on a wood floor. They are taking forever to break in as I’ve skated them for 3 hours at speed while turning and attempting power slides.I’m going to return mine but you might have better luck if you have narrow feet and are a small person who can get away with a harder wheel indoors and don’t mind replacing the bearings with something of better quality. The ABEC7 they come with are either not real Abec rated or just garbage. The wheel hubs are also not non-deforming and will cause hang ups. These should be fine for a child or small woman of light weight. I’ve got a set of VNLA on order and if those don’t work out I’ll go back to Riedell.

If you're serious about skating just get the expensive skates now.
I got back into roller skating because of my daughter. Like almost any other new hobby, as soon as I figured out what I was doing, I felt like spending all my money on the nicest thing I could afford. I only used these skates for 4 hours before buying myself Riedell 395 skates. If you're looking at these or VNLA, we know what you REALLY want. Just get those. You'll be way happier. If for some reason you only have 200 dollars to your name, I guess you can get these, but they are deceptively NOT leather. The uppers are vinyl, no doubt about it. I don't even think the soles are leather. If they are, it's like chipboard, manufactured leather from pieces of leather. Yes, they look similar to skates that cost 5 times as much, but they're not. Are they more comfortable than rental skates at the rink? Sure. They'd probably last someone without any strong opinions several years of careful use. They didn't do it for me. The wheels they come with are terrible. They might as well just be plastic. They'er too slippery for my local rings and insanely hard for outdoor use. I had to spend another 110 bucks on some 93a Riedell wheels for them. I ended up selling them to a friend who is not going to be coming out skating weekly like I have started doing.

So Comfortable
Great looking skate, so comfortable inside. The padding is amazing but, because I have a wide flat foot with bunions and corns they kind of hurt my toes. I ended up returning them only because my right corn on my pinky rubs awkwardly. For reference, I have to wear open toed sandals, 90% of the time because of the excruciating pain that radiates my foot, when my toes and corns and bunions rub.
