Excellent nesting material. Easy to install. Good quality. Keeps eggs clean and hens like it. Easy to pick up and dump out dirt or other unwanted accumulation of debris. Saw this at a friend’s coop and he recommended it to me. Happy with purchase. Highly recommend this addition.

I AM VERY DELIGHTED WITH THESE PADS FOR MY CHICKEN BOXES. MY EGGS ARE NICE AND CLEAN ON THE NESTING PADS, NO CRACKED EGGS AND THE CHICKENS LOVE THEM. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE PADS, THEY FIT MY BOXES VERY NICELY, THEY HAVE AMPLE NESTING MATERIAL ON EACH PAD. EXCELLENT PRODUCT.

I use Subscribe & Save and have these nesting pads delivered monthly. I change them as needed or monthly, whichever comes first, because occasionally an egg gets broken. I put dissolvable pellets under the pads in the event the pad gets wet to keep the nesting box dry, and to keep things smelling fresh. I also use nesting herbs for freshness. It's super easy cleaning to pick up a pad and throw it into the compost pile or garden beds. Yes, chickens scratch up the straw, but that's what chickens do to make their nest comfortable for their precious egg. It's not a problem with the pad that it can be molded the way the chicken wants. Using hay would contribute to a mite problem, and these don't. These may be pricey, but it's worth having healthy chickens for healthy, delicious eggs.

Nice, thick nesting pads that work very well in my girls nesting boxes. I have used this brand for about 3 years now and have been very happy with them. They are very sturdy and last quite a while. I found another brand that appears to be identical for almost half the price. This is why I am giving them 4 stars. I don't think they are a good value for the money.

I love it but my girls don’t like it at all! They ripped them apart, paper from the backing everywhere. It was all over but you need to know these nesting pads are very well made. If you have chickens that are used to nesting boxes they will love them. My girls (I inherited) are not used to nesting boxes. These are very thick, nice size, great vale and exactly as described.

Soft, clean, and stays in place. My hens love laying on these pads. No mess, no fuss — they make coop cleaning so much easier.

I like the separate, resealable bag of herbs and flowers which comes with these, and the pads themselves are of respectable quality. The price for 10 is a little steep (considering that these nesting pads are no thicker than several less-expensive alternatives), though, and it cannot be said that the dried floral mix-ins are worth the difference. An extra 10$ here or there for the same item maybe wouldn’t matter much if only I weren’t buying these so frequently… of the 10 available nest boxes, only the top level of 5 ever gets used by this flock. Their reasons for collectively scorning that lower column of nest boxes remain inscrutable and intractable: this is year 3 and, still, nobody uses them. Of those accepted 5 boxes, only 3 are profoundly desirable, and this has led to impolite/passive aggressive behavior exhibited by the girls sitting in wait on the length of perch directly outside each tier of nest boxes. While one hen is laying, another hen is poised at the threshold, glowering, and/or pressuring the occupant, and this has lead to broken eggs inside nest boxes, with a subsequent need to swap out liners often (surely more often than is normal). I’m looking into making curtains— more as a buffer than for privacy—but, in the mean time, I’m a steady buyer of disposable nest box pads, and these (in particular) I will only buy the once.
