Best workbook I've seen!
This little workbook is fantastic for kids with good reasoning skills! I often find workbooks are either overly complicated and overload kids with too much on a page or unclear instructions, or they're just not challenging enough. This workbook hits the perfect sweet spot -- cute illustrations, well laid out pages, and genuinely challenging problems that are age appropriate and draw kids in. My daughter is 7 and she has worked more diligently on this book than I've ever seen her. The problems clearly engage her and are diverse and interesting. Kudos to the authors! You've done something fantastic!

Gritty, thinking activity book
My grandson and I enjoy doing this book together. I like the different things they have kids think about, patterns, searches, counting, etc. Great activities.

Good! Interesting tasks
Good book! I wish it was in color, but we have what we have at this price

Nice but more for ages 6-8 imo
Bought for my 5 year old. The book contains many different types of exercises that are great for children's cognitive development. I like it. However, while the cover says it's for ages 4-6, there are also activities inside that are too advanced, like simple math operations; at least for my 5 year old.

Perfect for emerging readers
I was really impressed with this workbook! It held my 5-year-old’s attention for over an hour, which is what I bought it to do. Perfect for an airplane or to keep on hand for times you need them to be occupied and quiet. She did need a little help with the instructions, but the activities were great for kids who can’t read yet. They do need to be able to recognize and write numbers to be able to complete the puzzles independently, though.

This is helping a lot with my emotional thinker
My 5 year old is very emotion based in her thinking (as am I), and it can be a real struggle when it comes to learning/teaching logical concepts. I ordered the next book for my very logical 7 year old and tossed this in the cart just see what would happen. She loves it and is blowing through the work book! I highly recommend this book! Edit: I am reading through some of the other reviews and while this book is not colorful it is also not distracting. We have tried with so many books and this very basic in appearance books keeps my 5 year old attention and she enjoys it. We have tried countless colorful workbooks and for whatever reason this one works for her. If you are not a big screen time family or your child gets distracted easily this book might be super helpful. If your child is often using a tablet or phone this might not be what you are looking for.

Great for keeping kids mentally engaged
Grandkids (ages 4, 8, 10, 12) loved these books. There were different levels for the different age groups. They were great for road trips and for times TV and electronics are limited.

Good value, child enjoyed
Nice thick workbook which kept my 6 year old busy for a long time on a flight. Seems the right amount of challenge for his age, starts off easy to build confidence. Still lots left to do after the holiday so will be put away to stay ‘special’ for the next long journey. Child enjoyed this and pulled it out again at the villa so passes his check!
