The Voynich Manuscript

I’ve been fascinated by the Voynich Manuscript for years, so being able to own a reproduction of it is brilliant. The quality is excellent and it feels like a really well-produced facsimile. Hardback with cover and you can feel the quality just holding it. Obviously I can’t actually read the manuscript, but that’s almost beside the point. Just being able to look through the pages, study the illustrations and have a copy of something so mysterious is genuinely fascinating. If you’re interested in the Voynich Manuscript or unusual historical books, this is a fantastic reproduction and I’m really pleased with it.

The V M is quite famous, to people like me who are interested in "That Sort Of Thing.' It's a good facsimile, 'life size,' with all the fold-out pages, as per the original. I haven't translated it yet, perhaps I'll get around to it on a wet weekend.

Great book.

I have wanted a copy of this mysterious book for a long time. The copies previously available have been poor quality, but once I found this copy I decided to buy it. This is an official copy made and printed by Yale University, so I knew it would be a correct and extensive representation of the real document. I was not disappointed! This is a very high quality book. Beautifully presented and created with excellent care and attention to detail. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and would recommend it anyone with a genuine interest in this beautiful and interesting historical document. Five stars!

It was a present so not sure if it's any good but looks very nice

...I'm almost certain it must be for a different book. The one here is an authorised edition produced by the university itself. It contains life-sized scans of every single page of the Manuscript, printed in full colour on silky, heavy-stock paper (with margins to make notes if you like!). It also features ingenious multi-page fold-outs that replicate those in the Manuscript, and has several excellent essays on how the MS was found, how it was made and carbon-dated, the possible meanings and so on. In short, it's about as close as you'll get to looking at the Manuscript first-hand. I have nothing to do with the book - apart from having just bought it - but I think it's useful to point all this out.

Ever since I was young I have always wanted to see this. This reproduction is so good its like the manuscript is in front of you. So glad I got this.

This book, "The Voynich Manuscript" is a very complex and consice book about an ancient race that lived in the north west and mainly focuses on the women who had the knowledge and ability to contol and shape nature. It is tough to read and a very long drawn out process to translate given its use of multiple methods of encoding and languages but most learned men shouldn't have much trouble, also and some of it is quite macabre. As i said previously "The Voynich Manuscript" is very consice giving both methods of growing certain plants and the practical uses of them. altogether "The Voynich Manuscript" is a highly interesting copy of a copy of very ancient texts long since lost or destroyed
