Does this have gelatin or any animal derivation or its vegan?

They list ingredients as Cornstarch, cocoa (processed with alkali), dextrose, salt, artificial flavor. But let me tell you, it's absolutely awful. Cannot compare with Royal or Jello brand cook and serve chocolate pudding.

Dr oetker baking today, quark, is there a substitution for this? i don't remember having heard this in germany

There is to my knowledge no quark available (in the United States at least I never found it). It is available in Canada (I think). In Germany it is rather common and used for baking etc. The closed substitute is cream cheese.

Taste great.

Tastes great and easy to make. This would be fun for kids. Plus NO PALM OIL!!!! It’s soooo hard to find pudding WITHOUT palm oil. Palm oil tastes GROSS and it’s bad for your health, it’s bad for the environment. BOYCOTT PALM OIL!!!!!

Tastes great, as most Dr. Oetker products have for decades, what else can I say? Above all, it does not become overly sweet and not gluey. Of course, it would be great if it could be bought at half the price but considering today's freight rates, it's a nice semi-luxury to afford once in a while.

Creamy and as sweet as you want it

I grew up on pudding like this, tasty. But the best thing is that you can make it as creamy as you want by making it with 2%, full milk or half and half (or a combination thereof) and - this is important to me - you add as much sugar as you want to. Presweetened pudding mixes are too sweet for me.I recommend this product.
