I started using these in Dubai about 9 years ago. At that time I had never seen them in the US. The ones I bought so long ago are as good today as they were when they were brand new. The hinges latch onto a plastic piece and lock. They will not ever come open accidentally. They are so easy to close and open. You will not find a better product for food storage anywhere. The only thing is some of them have a white sticker on the bottom that was a little hard to get off. They are well worth the price.

I like all of the different sizes that are available. These a great for all kinds of storage.

Does what I need it for. Fits meat bin perfectly. Used to store processed meats. Will be ordering more soon.

Container not as large as advertised. It's actual size is closer to 2.75 "x 3.5"

The dimensions shown are 4.3 x 3.5 x 1.9 inches. The real size of the container (should you actually want to put something inside it) is 3.25 x 2.5 x 1.375 inches and considerably smaller. Some items I should not even try to buy online as the people doing the listings often are clueless about the actual products being sold.

I own and use several sizes of Lock and Lock containers from this through to the very largest, some rectangular, some circular and others of specialist purpose. They are always completely air and watertight as long as a grain of salt or sugar, for example, does not come between seal and lid. In occasional wipe with a damp paper towel will remove any residue from the seal/lid interface.As one of the smallest containers in the range, this is useful for storing things such as fresh or dried herbs, spices or even smaller amounts of liquids such as the remains of a fresh mayonnaise sauce.
