10/10 Sound - No game/chat mix is a step backwards
I purchased after giving away my stealth 700 gen 2’s (which i loved and still work great after 4 years of daily use). Out the box these feel lofty, definitely not a light headset. Materials are a step up but a fingerprint magnet. As far as functionality and performance - they sound great, especially great for FPS/sound imaging, but not the biggest fan of losing the dedicated game/chat dials. I will say the turtle beach app is definitely one of the better apps I’ve used for a headset, probably the best. However for this headset, my settings/EQ adjustments don’t always save. The swappable battery is a nice feature to have as well. Are they worth $300+? I’d probably settle for the stealth 700 gen 3 if you don’t mind the lower quality mic, but i got the pro’s for $180. At that price these are well worth it.Side note - the boom mic pretty commonly breaks on these. I’d recommend leaving the boom mic flipped down, and leave it down. Just detach the mic when you don’t need it. This should prevent the issues others are having, which i believe is caused by the mic being flipped up and down. Annoying work around i know, especially for the price, but not the biggest inconvenience to me personally. Otherwise a great sounding headset.

Great headset amazing sound
I have had this headset now for quite some time. It has worked flawlessly, and the sound is amazing. Do yourself a favor and get the cooling gel wicked cushions to replace the stock ones. My ears tend to sweat, so the wicked cushions were a nice upgrade. I love the swappable batteries, and I never have to worry about them going dead. If you swap the batteries quick enough, you don’t lose connection. It’s very good for those long gaming sessions. Plus, I like the fact that it beeps to let you know the batteries are going dead. I like the weight of the headset, and the headband is very comfortable. I like the fact that you can adjust the settings from the app on your phone. I’m overall very pleased with this headset, and I got it at a great price.

Many issues
I really like some of the features of the headset, For instance the battery swap out, customizability in the app, the range and the Noise Canceling was excellent. However, the amount of issues is definitely not worth the price and I would rather stick with my Stealth 700 Gen 2. They were honestly fantastic and I thought these were going to be even better, But I was pretty disappointed.IssuesTo Start,Mic Monitoring: I hate it, It's straight garbage IMO. It sounds as if the noise is coming from 2 different speakers versus from a unified source. (If that makes sense) Compared to other headsets I've used, It just sounds so off no matter how much I tried to adjust it in the app.Updating: Getting everything ready for the update was easy, The issue was during the actual update. The update failed to complete many times and each time I had to flip the transmitter and hit the reset button. Not sure as why the last one was successful as I never messed/moved anything once the update started.Phone Calls: Sometimes after a phone call, I would have to turn the headset off and back on again because the audio going through my mic would output as robotic and screechy.Buzz: I noticed, especially when playing quiter games, that every time I clicked a button/trigger a short and quiet buzz would play through the headset. (Constant buzz when using the analog sticks) It got annoying overtime and kinda ruined the point of having noise canceling.Volume Wheel: It seems like a cool idea, But in terms of use, It just wasn't good. Apart from sometimes not actually working at all.It seemed like you had to press on the edges to get it to go up and down in volume rather than trying by spinning it a thousand times.Having to hold the button in the middle for several seconds to switch to the secondary action was just lame. I preferred making instant adjustments with two volume wheels. (For game chat and party chat, especially in games where audio is key)Internal Mic: I'm not sure how good these can sound as I've never used a mic as such. But as described by my friends. They sound as if I was in a room with no furniture and kinda just sound like an echo. (Not actually echoing though) Seems pretty lame for the price.Overall, I really tried to like this headset. But for the price, The headset is absolutely garbage. The main features I liked were already present in my previous headset so this was more of a downgrade because of the issues.
