Q: Says no chain required, but shows the anchor with a chain?

The anchor definitely does NOT come with any type type chain, rope, or tether and you will need one to attach it to your watercraft. I bought a reinforced bungee style marine tether and it works really well.

Q: Will this hold a 26 ft tritoon that weighs around 3800 pounds? They didn't answer the question last time,just gave me a vague response.

I just used it on my 27' deckboat and worked great. Was in a no wake zone so did not have rough seas to contend with.

It is possible for stainless to rust. If it's around the pins it's probably the weld affected zone. Stainless when welded can get contaminated if it was welded way too hot or polished with a carbon steel brush. Only a slight surface rust will usually occur.
