TriaxULV ATF, Ultra Low Viscosity, Full Synthetic ATF for Modern High Performance Transmissions (1 Gallon)

Ultra low viscosity transmission fluid is basically made by Ford/AC Delco merger and Valvoline.I am by trade a consultant for a well known manufacturer of specialty products and lubricants, I know good products when I see them. Triax is a superb product over the retail shelf competition and should easily last 100,000 miles with no issues.I recommend this brand over any other brands in the industry!

I wasn't going to buy this because I had never heard of it but after reading the ratings I decided to give it a try. My Ford Edge ST had 56000 miles on it and it was shifting hard so I wanted to change the ATF.I drained out a little less than 4.5 quarts which is not all of the fluid and then put in 4.5 quarts of TRIAX drove it about 100 miles then drained and filled again. The first two times the fluid was a little dark but better the second time. I made the mistake of taking out the check plug without it running and about a quart ran out so i started it and added until it was running out the check hole with the car leveled and warm. then I took it for a drive and so far I can tell it is shifting much smoother. I am going to drive it about a week and drain and fill again and I am convinced that it is going to do the trick.

Did a drain and fill on my wife's Ford escape and it worked great.

Wasn't able to drop my pan yet cause my other parts didnt come but did extract 6qts from my 2017 F150 pan. I replaced with the same amount using a long tube and half qt suction pump. Definitely shifts smoother though time will tell (but at the price you cant go wrong). If your on the fence just do it compared to the price of the Ford ULV. For the shade tree guys just do it, you can save money for better things.

2018 3.5 f150 w/ the 10 speed. ULVDid a drain and fill at 87,**** let it drain and drip over night. Poured this stuff in. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.Even when sitting overnight and starting, the shift jump from 1st gear to 3rd is smooth.Which was unexpected.Normally, the shift from 1st to 3rd are a bit of a jump, however… after… it glides into the shift and no jump is felt. Sport mode shifts are quick and smooth aswell.Towing, the temps do rise upto 206 but quickly drop down to 185 when in normal mode.Highly recommend this over the Ford brand ULV.

This and the Valvoline ULV ATF is the stuff I use for my 10R60 trans drain and fill. I only do vacuum extraction so started yearly train and fills at 60k miles. Shifting is better than when new since doing so and now have 88k miles.
