What is base made of?

Every thing is plastic except middle part of the handle..not worthy

Facing issue in fixing handle ..Auto lock is not working

I also faced the same issue. I completely removed the handle, fixed the push button and then pushed it back. Now it is staying fixed in the position that we set. At times again when we adjust, the same issue arises and again remove the handle and fix the button.
