Great little laptop
I needed a good but reasonably priced laptop to take to work. So after a little research, I found that of all the oldish power laptops out there the most sort after was the Lenovo X230. So I bought this one. It's fast as it has an i5 intel processor. It's small but the screen is large enough to get real work done. It also has a good weight for mobile use. The battery is ok I get 4hours after full charge (note I keep the screen at full brightness even on battery). For the price, it's pretty good. I have done a few mods though, to make it even better. I fitted an IPS screen on mine which made it even better. The X230 is a classic I see it as the "Ford Mustang 69" of laptops :) And it has that legendry keyboard.

Classic laptop well restored
Seller delivered laptop really quickly. Apart from superficial imperfections in plastic cover, the laptop is as good as new. The model itself is really quick and reliable. Nothing to complain about at all.

very good laptop - just a shame it only lasted a year
Don't be fooled by the moderate star-rating I awarded this - I have really liked this laptop.For one year it worked faultlessly, until the day it decided not to connect to the Internet anymore.It has been ideal for daily use and it even has tactile buttons for the volume and mute - a shame that more manufacturers don't do this.Battery life is not good though - 2 hours is about the limit between charges.But it has a solid feel about it and an air of reasonable quality.The fact that I bought this reconditioned might have a bearing on its lack of longevity, and I'm now wondering just how many hands it's been through before it arrived to me.

WARNING: Health Hazard.
It may well 'look like new' but the moment I booted it, the lovely stench of warmed fungal spoors filled the room and probably the lungs of everyone around me! " These pre-owned products have been inspected and tested by Amazon-qualified suppliers."? Please don't make me laugh....or after it was 'inspected and tested' it was stored in a damp shed! Going by CRS' insipid 'form' reply to my message, I will NOT be ordering from them again and the laptop will be winging its way back to them today.

great value, perfect for students.
i got this laptop in january and i can confirm that its perfect! it can even run games with ease however due to its graphics card it can not run high end games or 3d programs like blendr without difuculty. This pc also has a slight problem with screenburn however this only happens if the laptop is left running with no activity for 20 minuets or more and it goes away in a few minuets. overall this is a verry good laptop that runs almost any program with ease! verry light and had a batterery power of 1-4 hours depending on what you use it for!
