CasioCasio fx-CG50 including a WYNGS protective case in Turquoise - Basic Set

I bought this calculator for my son who is doing A Level maths. It was highly recommended for A level Maths. It is a solid well made well designed calculator made by the highly respected Casio. This package with a solid case was slightly cheaper than one without the case. It is a good solid case that will protect the calculator well. My son says it was take a little getting used to the calculator and says the instructions within are not in English. He found instructions online. He is very impressed with the calculator, which he says will help get better marks because it makes some things quicker and it can be used in the exam. A very good package with a very good calculator for A level maths. It is recommended by many and by my son.

Arrived promptly and in good condition, excellent calculator, perfect for A level. Comes in a plastic case so not sure if the additional case provided is needed.

No instructions in English but easy to download instructions. My Son is doing A Level Maths and Physics and says it’s amazing !! Highest level allowed in Exams.

The brand did not disappoint me, pretty amazing features and easy to operate. The only gripe I had was the instruction manual was in Deutsch and no English version included.

A gift for my grandson who assures me it’s great He’s doing his A levels so this was really useful for him .

The school told us to get these for A level maths and it is the best calculator ever!Has many handy features such as solving quadratics and drawing graphs making life a lot easier.If you have the technical knowhow and some help from youtube you can even add games! I personally have pokemon and super Mario bros installed hahaIt does take some time to understand how to use it and even I don't know what half of the features are but once you get used to it you will never want to switch back to a normal calculator :)

I've had an FX-81 for at least 35 years and it's just as good today as it was when I got it. My son has used it for GCSE Maths, but for Further Maths 'A' Level you need the next generation. They need a graphing calculator. All his teachers and many review sites recommend this calculator. It'll get you through sixth form Further Maths. I did look at the model above this one as it would be a better option if my son takes Maths at Uni, but it's banned at 'A' Level because it can store a formula and do algebraic manipulation. That's something 'A' level students have to prove they can do without help. So, this was the best option. The price of these calculators is horrific, especially as my son is so accident prone. So, it has a hard front cover and an additional zip up case. I have no idea how it works but my son worked it out in no time and loves it.

Bought my son this for when he starts college in September as he will be doing maths , physics and computer science.He said it’s amazing and he even managed to transfer games from his pc to it , so now he has a Mario game on it .I was worried about paying £100, but must admit it’s definitely worth it !
