This wallet offers top-notch security and works offline, making it perfect for safely storing various cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and more. The user-friendly interface makes it a breeze to manage my digital assets, even as a newcomer to the crypto world. I'm giving up, I dont want to, but I am. Tried USB to Windows PC, just couldn’t get it to work
This “imKey imKey Pro Cryptocurrency Hardware Wallet, CC EAL 6+ Secure Level, Offline Operates, Multi-Secure, Safely Stores Your Crypto (Ethereum, Bitcoin, Litecoin and More), NFTs, Layer2, EVMa” seems to be well made, and it is a cute little mini creditcard like device, pretty thin, yet still have buttons and display. This “imKey Pro” is hardware crypto wallet aka cold storage wallet; meaning that one of these wallet/device supposed to keep your critical information completely “offline”, those critical information should never had existed anywhere online “ever”, and this is the safest way to avoid hackers getting a hold of those critical information (key) to steal your crypto asset. With a bitcoin close to $100k, protecting your crypto asset is a serious issue, so please be aware. One potential “hack” to these hardware wallet is “supply chain attacks”, meaning that hackers got a hold of your device and modify/install malwares on it before it get to you; hence, be sure to order directly from the manufacturer or its authorized reseller (for example, on Amazon US, this is the official store: https://www.amazon.com/stores/imKey/page/BB5DB6D0-71A4-49BB-ADF0-C8F2FE0B6BF0). And when you receive your item, be sure to cross-check with the manufacturer on the tamper protection that is applied to the package. This “imKey Pro” do have all those safeguard in place, so please do check. One pros and also cons for this “imKey Pro” is its bluetooth feature, with it, it is more convenient to connect to your phone, but that also introduce another potential security risk; therefore, I, personally, refuse to use this hardware wallet with bluetooth, especially for my high value crypto asset. So, this review is not for the imKey Pro bluetooth connection to imToken PhoneApp experience. And for my experience with the USB connection to my Windows PC, it had been pretty disappointing, basically, I couldn’t get it to work, I probably am just missing some simple obvious step, yet, none of the included instruction or the pop-up when I connect the “imKey Pro” with its included USB cable to my Windows 11 help at all. When I plug it in, the pop-up said “imKey Hardware Wallet detected. Go to imkey.im to connect.” Clicking the pop-up will bring me to the imkey.im site, but there, it’s just the homepage of imKey and nothing happens after that. So, I am giving up. I had experience with Trezor, and when I plugged it in, it just works! Another issue that had me drop a star is that when I acquired my “imKey Pro” (only), it was $109, and I think that price is to the high side. Currently the unit is at $69, which I think is a lot more fair, if it wasn’t my issue of not being able to get it working with USB, I would have rated this higher. Thank you for reading this review, I hope that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

Issues during the setup, but it worked out. Works fine as a cold backup
I did run into issues where the wallet would turn off when it's trying to make a bluetooth connection to my phone. I decided to update the device through the computer and ran into a separate issue where the device was undergoing the upgrade process but then disconnected. The result was that the screen on the wallet was stuck saying "Bootloader" and it had issues being recognized by the computer. I eventually found a solution: after installing the software, reset the computer, and then go through the update process. My hardware wallet was able to be recognized again. After the update, my phone was establish a reliable connection with the wallet. Something I like is that there's a unique code that's needed to pair the wallet to a device. I like this as it's an added security layer in case that the wallet falls into the wrong hands. I store this unique code along with where the seed would be stored. The screen doesn't show any crypto balances, addresses, or any pricing. The wallet is reliant on the app for detailed information. As a cold backup wallet, with a connection previously paired with a phone, this works fine. There's a user-created security pin that's entered by the user in order to access the wallet where the wallet will allow for a bluetooth connection to the phone. As for the build quality, it's a pretty thin and small wallet with a hole in it to be placed on a lanyard. I've had it on my keychain for a while and it's been working fine. Something that I'm not a fan of is the the micro USB port, but it's fine.

IMkey
So this is basically a crypto Cold Storage and I absolutely love this thing. As you can see from the picture I have this on my Mercedes key ring and I take it with me everywhere I go and I actually have quite a bit of crypto stored on it. There's only one issue that I found with this thing other than that I highly recommend it and the issue is not really that big of a deal if you're constantly using it but basically what the issue is is if you do not transfer crypto very often eventually if you're not constantly logging into this thing every so often I don't know what the time frame is but basically I transferred a bunch of crypto or Bitcoin and ethereum to it and did not use it for quite some time and I want to go sell some off and I was actually locked out of it because I did not have my combination of letters and numbers that were used to unlock it and I'm not talking about the pin that I set up to use it. Once you don't use it for a while if you put your pin in it will ask you to put in your big giant long combination of letters and numbers and in order to reconnect it basically don't existing account so basically I missed out on an opportunity to sell because I only store that at home and I did not realize that it's been that long since I logged into it other than that this thing is phenomenal I'm able to track all of my stuff through the app to see what I have in there but I actually like it because it's like a locked Cold Storage Bank for my crypto and I can put as much as little as I want into there and transfer it around as often as I want but in order to withdraw you have to okay it on the key so it's basically locked in there like a bank. I kind of like that because it keeps my head off of watching the constant Market fluctuations and I can basically store it in there for a rainy day until I need it or want to transfer it around and what crypto becoming more mainstream I think those things absolutely phenomenal. I actually picked up a debit card that was a cold storage also so I want to test that one out also and compare it to this one but so far this one is very good. This thing's very easy to navigate and set up but it is a absolute must to not ever lose that other key or you're pretty much screwed but other than that I highly recommend this thing and I need 100% worth of money and as you can see if it's right on a keychain and you can take this thing with you everywhere 100% recommended

Good alternative to a Ledger, at least for EVM chains
I got this as I wanted something other than another Ledger device. I also liked the form factor of this, being about credit card sized, but thicker and I really liked how the carrying case looked, which you don't get at all with a Ledger Nano or Nano X. The metal seed phrase box was also a nice bonus and certainly more substantial than the laminated piece of paper Ledger gives you to write it on. The hardware wallet and case are both nicely built, neither feel cheap but also aren't particularly premium. The wallet feels solid and looks sharp, the storage case is a nice design and fits the wallet well. Overall, build quality and materials are more than acceptable. The hardware wallet is mostly just for EVM chains, and that's all I've tried it with so far. It works really well though and the 3 button setup is easier to use than the Ledger's 2 buttons. I think the form factor is pretty great and I enjoy using the device. It worked well with Ethereum and Sonic and I haven't had any issues with it. The app and software is pretty solid as well; it's about as intuitive as Ledger Desktop, which is to say it's usable but not great. Battery life has been excellent so far and the display is useful to have. I found it to be a solid alternative to Ledger's products, if you can live with it mostly being for EVM chains; it's a good hardware wallet and a nice package overall, what with the carrying case and metal seed storage box.

Secure, Compact and Easy to use
I’ve been using the imKey Pro Cryptocurrency Hardware Wallet, and I’m really impressed with its security and simplicity. With a CC EAL 6+ secure level (the same standard used in banking systems), it feels like my crypto is truly safe. What I love most is that it operates entirely offline, so my private keys are never exposed to the internet—no worrying about potential hacks or online vulnerabilities. The wallet is compact and lightweight, so it’s easy to carry around, yet it’s solidly built. Setting it up was a breeze, and the interface is simple to navigate, even for someone who might be new to hardware wallets. It supports multiple cryptocurrencies, which is super convenient since I have a diverse portfolio. The multi-signature feature is another great bonus, adding an extra layer of protection for my transactions. Compared to something like the Ledger Nano X, which I’ve also used, the imKey Pro doesn’t have Bluetooth connectivity, but I actually prefer that for security reasons. Both wallets are great, but the imKey Pro feels more focused on keeping everything offline and secure. Overall, I’m really happy with the imKey Pro. It’s straightforward, reliable, and gives me peace of mind knowing my assets are well-protected. If you’re looking for a no-frills hardware wallet that puts security first, I’d definitely recommend this one!
