So far so good
Could read the files using my M1 iPad and iPhone 15 pro max. USB charged in a short time. Will have my Midi Captain shortly to complete testing for my use cases. Seems like a great value considering the price of the 2.4 ghtz midi competitors.

Requires charging
I bought this because it looked like a slightly cheaper alternative to CME WIDI Master. The WIDI Master is powered by the MIDI port. Once it's plugged in, you can forget it even exists. Every time you turn on the device, the WIDI Master is on, forever and ever, amen. Paint Audio's Wireless MIDI Adapter looks almost identical, but it *requires charging*. It has an on/off switch. That's a profound difference in usability.

What an amazing device
Easy to use, fast conection, few latency, I recommend it to use with a wireless MIDI controller

Locked up
The good thing about this device is the ease of use. The downside is that it only allows you to use 1 channel when connecting to another device like a midi router. This is odd because their Midi Captain does not limit how many channels you can send. How difficult would it be to transmit in Omni mode? In my use case I am configuring three foot pedal devices: an Ampero II Stomp, an H90 and a Nux Cerberus. The Nux needs to be sent on Channel 3 and since it has 4 presets per bank instead of 3 per bank as the other do, I cannot manage on just one channel. Without the wireless the Midi Captain works fine. The low rating is due to the fact that both of the wireless midi adapters went into a read only mode and were bricked. There was no warnings that this could happen under regular usage. My emails to their support went unanswered so I ended up returning them.

Item did not work at all. Tried re-installing Firmware but still did not work. PaintAudio support does not support. I tried contacting them multiple times regarding support for a Midi foot controller that I had purchased but received no replies. I am returning the Midi Mate wireless.
