Bought these to test an old Browning Nomad pistol in .22lr. Originally bought plastic ones, but they jammed up the gun. The metal ones more accurately simulate live ammo and these cycle and advance in the magazine. They have soft pads on the back so you can dry fire without damaging the firing pin. They give you some spare pads in case the originals get mashed up too much.

Dimensionally, these are identical to a 12 ga shell. They are even weighted to approximate a real shell. The key is the hard rubber protector that goes where the primer would normally be. This allows you to dry fire the shotgun without fear of damaging your firing pin. They even provide additional rubber plugs, but I suspect it will be quite a while before you wear one out. Great product and reasonable price.

These are fine for the purpose. Better are available in color and construction. Look before you buy. I sent these back in favor of others.

I was at first disappointed in that I may have received a bad batch and a incorrectly machined set of dummy rounds, as they are much shorter then the real round. I contacted support and a response was sent within a day. They are correctly machined and meant to be like this. I cycled the rounds, fed into a mag, fed into a mag with a stripper clip, all functional with no issues. Very happy with the purchase.

Only two dummy rounds work. Rest will not allow bolt to close.

My 12 gauge dummy rounds are well made and work perfectly as a dummy round for me. I had a small issue with my delivery and I contacted customer service and they answered me right away and solved my problem for me with no hassle. They seemed genuinely concerned about helping me and made things correct, right away. Their communication was great and so was their written English. These actually work quite well. Built solid and function as they should. They have replaceable primer impact rubber pieces as well. Quite impressed for the price!
